My Doctor FINALLY released me to start doing a few massages a week ! I'm accepting established clients ONLY. I have morning Appointments available at 10:00 or 11:00 Monday - Wednesday. 18 weeks post OP. I had high hope's of getting back to doing a few massages this week. Turns out , I'm not strong enough yet.😞 I am working diligently with my physical therapist. I started strengthening at the 16 week mark. As soon as I get strong enough, I will be taking a few clients a week. I will keep yall posted . Keep the prayers coming !!!

12 weeks post OP. I finally started raising my arm in therapy and boy did it hurt ! Dr. Chillemi has ordered to go slow and easy on me. Still no lifting. I'm following orders the best I can and my plan is to recover and get back to doing massage therapy part time. Thank you for your continued prayers and thoughts while I am in recovery!! I miss you all terribly!!

8 weeks post OP
I'm out of the sling. I started Physical therapy last week. They are being very cautious with me so we are taking it slow. I'm not able to raise my arm much at all. I'm hoping the surgery is working and I can eventually get my strength back. In the meantime, I am working at The Carpenter's Corner. I do plan on doing massage therapy part time after I heal properly and get my strength back. Thank you all for your concerns and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

One week post op Update :
I have not been in as much pain as I did with the other surgeries. I'm just very , very sore. I hate this sling with a passion but I am wearing it as I should. My stitches are starting to itch like crazy so I know the incisions are healing. Next week I see Dr Chillimie and he will remove the stitches and will order physical therapy. I'm a little nervous about that. I am being very cautious about moving my arm at all. I pray this patch adheres to my tendon and I can be somewhat strong again. I miss you all terribly and I pray that I can heal and get back to doing what I love. Massage therapy.

Surgery went well as to be expected. Dr Chillime was confident in how and where he placed the patch. The nerve block worked so well that I cant even feel my whole arm or my fingers !!! The last 4 times , I could move my hand at least. Well not this time!! It has spiked my anxiety to the roof. I can only think of those who are paralyzed and I am overcome with empathy for those people. John has done good with helping me , although he gets frustrated when he cant make everything perfect. He threatened to have all my hair cut off since he knows nothing about even pulling it back into a pony tail , LOL. Please continue to pray for me as this nerve block wears off and I begin to recover. And THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for your prayers and comforting words so far.
