**Do you pay attention to the way you talk to yourself?**
Because that little voice in your head can be LOUD. 😂
*“I already messed up today, so what's the point?”*
*“I'm terrible at sticking with things.”*
*“I'll never be able to do this.”*
*“My body just doesn't cooperate anymore.”*
One thing I've learned is that changing our habits often requires us to pay attention to the thoughts accompanying them.
Not because positive thinking magically fixes everything.
It doesn't.
But the way we speak to ourselves can either encourage us to take the next small step—or convince us there's no point in trying.
So instead of:
❌ “I can never stick with anything.”
Try:
**“I am learning how to make choices that support my health.”**
Instead of:
❌ “My body is failing me.”
Try:
**“My body deserves my care and support, even when it's struggling.”**
Instead of:
❌ “I have so far to go.”
Try:
**“I don't have to do everything today. I just need to take the next step.”**
And one of my favorites:
**“Small choices still count.”**
You don't have to pretend everything is wonderful when it isn't.
You can acknowledge that something is hard AND remind yourself that you still have choices about what happens next.
