**Do you pay attention to the way you talk to yourself?**

Because that little voice in your head can be LOUD. 😂

*“I already messed up today, so what's the point?”*

*“I'm terrible at sticking with things.”*

*“I'll never be able to do this.”*

*“My body just doesn't cooperate anymore.”*

One thing I've learned is that changing our habits often requires us to pay attention to the thoughts accompanying them.

Not because positive thinking magically fixes everything.

It doesn't.

But the way we speak to ourselves can either encourage us to take the next small step—or convince us there's no point in trying.

So instead of:

❌ “I can never stick with anything.”

Try:

**“I am learning how to make choices that support my health.”**

Instead of:

❌ “My body is failing me.”

Try:

**“My body deserves my care and support, even when it's struggling.”**

Instead of:

❌ “I have so far to go.”

Try:

**“I don't have to do everything today. I just need to take the next step.”**

And one of my favorites:

**“Small choices still count.”**

You don't have to pretend everything is wonderful when it isn't.

You can acknowledge that something is hard AND remind yourself that you still have choices about what happens next.

💬 What's something you need to remind yourself of today?

Write it below—we may all need to borrow yours. ❤️

**One of the hardest parts of neuropathy isn't just the pain...**

It's how much SPACE the pain can begin to take up in your life.

When your feet are burning at night...

When putting on shoes hurts...

When you're exhausted because you didn't sleep...

When you're wondering whether walking through the grocery store is going to make everything flare...

Of course your brain starts paying attention to your symptoms.

That's part of what your nervous system is designed to do.

But over time, neuropathy can start influencing your decisions before you've even made them.

*Can I go?*
*How far will I have to walk?*
*Will this make my symptoms worse?*
*What if I can't sleep tonight?*

That's why one thing I encourage my clients to do is become **curious about their symptoms rather than simply fearful of them.**

Start noticing:

→ When do my symptoms tend to increase?

→ What was happening beforehand?

→ What seems to help?

→ How did I sleep?

→ Have I eaten regularly?

→ Am I under more stress than usual?

→ What activities am I beginning to avoid because I'm afraid of my symptoms?

You're gathering information—not judging yourself.

And that information can help us begin seeing patterns.

During **Pain Awareness Month**, I especially want people to understand this:

Pain is an experience—not a personal failure.

A difficult symptom day doesn't mean you've failed or that every bit of progress you've made has disappeared.

Sometimes it simply means we need to listen, learn, adjust, and keep moving forward.

Does looking at symptoms as **information** rather than simply “good days versus bad days” change how you think about your neuropathy?

I'd love to hear your thoughts below.

**Looks can be deceiving...**

Social media has a funny way of making everyone's life look a little more put together than it really is.

So when you see me talking about hydration, nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and all the things I encourage my clients to work on...

Please know something:

**I don't do all of them perfectly either.**

I still have days when sugar sounds much better than protein and vegetables. 😂

There are mornings when exercise is absolutely NOT what I feel like doing.

There are busy seasons when my routines get disrupted and I have to intentionally find my way back to them.

The difference isn't perfection.

It's that I've learned what helps me feel my best—and I keep returning to those foundations.

I've also learned the importance of having people around me who challenge me, teach me, encourage me, and hold me accountable.

Because knowing what to do and consistently *doing it* are two very different things.

That's something I want my clients to understand, too.

Improving your health doesn't require perfection.

It requires learning which actions matter, practicing them consistently, and getting back to them when life knocks you off course.

That's one reason I believe so strongly in small changes.

You don't have to completely transform your life tomorrow.

You just have to take the next step.

If you'd like somewhere simple to begin, comment **START** below and I'll send you my free **5-Day Neuropathy Reset Journal**.

**What if you didn't have to commit to changing your whole life?**

What if you just committed to...

**5 days?**

Five days of paying a little more attention to your body.

Five days of drinking your water.

Five days of thinking differently about your meals.

Five days of prioritizing sleep.

Five days of noticing stress.

Five days of moving your body in a way that feels appropriate for you.

Not perfectly.

**Intentionally.**

That's exactly why I created the FREE **5-Day Neuropathy Reset Journal.**

I don't want you to start your health journey believing you have to completely overhaul your life.

I want you to experience what happens when you choose one small action...

And then another.

And another.

Because those little wins begin building something incredibly important:

**Confidence that you CAN influence your health.**

The journal gives you a simple place to start.

And after five days?

You can decide what your next small step will be.

Ready to begin?

Comment **5 DAYS** below and I'll send you your free copy of the **5-Day Neuropathy Reset Journal.** ❤️

**Are you READY?**

You've researched neuropathy.

You've tried things.

You've saved posts.

You've bought supplements.

You've told yourself:

*“I really need to start taking better care of this.”*

So here's my question...

**What happens if you actually start?**

Imagine where you could be 90 days from now if, instead of trying another random solution, you had a plan.

A plan for your nutrition.

A plan for hydration and blood sugar.

A plan for sleep.

A plan for movement.

A plan for managing stress.

And someone helping you figure out which pieces deserve your attention first.

I can't promise you where your symptoms will be 90 days from now.

Neuropathy is complex, and every person's situation is different.

But I *can* tell you that 90 days from now is coming either way.

The question is:

**What do you want to have done with them?**

If you've been watching from the sidelines and wondering whether the **Neuropathy Reset** could be right for you, let's have the conversation.

Schedule a complimentary **Discovery Call** with me.

We'll talk about where you are, where you want to be, what's getting in the way, and whether the Neuropathy Reset is an appropriate next step.

No pressure to enroll.

Just a conversation about what's next.

👇 Comment **90 DAYS** and I'll send you the link to schedule your call.

**I LOVE this book because... 📚❤️**

Have you ever read a book and thought...

*I need to remember this.*

And then six months later realized you probably need to read the whole thing again? 😂

That's **Becoming MomStrong by Heidi St. John** for me.

I've read this one more than once because there are so many reminders in it that I need in different seasons of motherhood.

One of the things that resonated most with me was the reminder that I am equipped for the work God has given me to do—even when raising and homeschooling children in a world that can feel pretty uncertain.

Motherhood can make you question yourself.

Homeschooling can *definitely* make you question yourself. 😉

And there are seasons when it's easy to wonder:

*Am I doing enough?*

This book continually brings me back to faith, purpose, grace, and the reminder that I don't have to do everything perfectly to faithfully do what I've been called to do.

Sometimes we need permission to stop striving quite so hard, find some rest, and trust God with the pieces we can't control.

It's one of those books that has earned a permanent spot on my bookshelf. ❤️

**Have you read Becoming MomStrong?**

Or better yet...

📚 **What's a book YOU love that you think I should read?**

I'm always looking for recommendations, so drop yours below!

**Neuropathy isn't just about burning, numbness, or tingling.**

It's about waking up exhausted because your feet kept you awake half the night.

It's about feeling unsteady when you walk.

It's about wondering whether you can tolerate wearing your favorite shoes.

It's about struggling with buttons, cooking, typing, or other everyday tasks because your fingers don't feel the way they used to.

It's about saying “no” to something you want to do because you're worried about how you'll feel afterward.

And sometimes...

It's about being afraid of what your future might look like.

That's why when someone tells me neuropathy is affecting almost every part of their life...

**I believe them.**

Neuropathy may begin with changes in peripheral nerves, but its *impact* can reach into sleep, movement, balance, independence, confidence, work, relationships, and quality of life.

That's also why I don't believe neuropathy care should focus exclusively on asking:

**“How do we make the burning stop?”**

Of course symptom relief matters.

But I also want to know:

How are you sleeping?

How are you moving?

Do you feel safe and confident walking?

What activities have you stopped doing?

What does your nutrition look like?

How is your overall health?

And most importantly...

**What has neuropathy taken away from you that you desperately want back?**

That's the whole-person approach behind the **Neuropathy Reset**.

We aren't just looking at a pair of painful feet.

We're looking at the person attached to them. ❤️

Tell me below:

**What area of your LIFE has neuropathy affected the most?**

If I have a resource that can help, I'll point you in the right direction.

**September is Pain Awareness Month 💙**

And this is a conversation that matters deeply to me.

Chronic pain affects millions of adults in the United States—but behind every statistic is a person.

A person who may be struggling to sleep.

Someone who has stopped doing activities they love.

Someone trying to work while hurting.

Someone who is afraid to move because they don't know whether it will make things worse.

Someone who has tried treatment after treatment and still doesn't feel like they understand WHY they're hurting.

Chronic pain can be associated with many different conditions, including:

→ Low back pain
→ Arthritis and joint conditions
→ Previous injuries
→ Fibromyalgia
→ Neurological conditions
→ Neuropathy and nerve injury
→ Cancer and cancer treatment
→ And many others

And here's one of the most important things I hope to communicate this month:

**Pain is complex.**

It isn't simply a measurement of tissue damage.

Our nervous system, physical health, sleep, stress, movement, environment, experiences, emotions, and many other factors can influence the pain experience.

That doesn't mean the pain isn't real.

**It means we need a bigger toolbox.**

Throughout September, I'm going to be sharing more about chronic pain and neuropathy, how the nervous system works, and some of the integrative strategies I use to help people better understand and manage their symptoms.

Because the more we understand pain, the better equipped we are to have meaningful conversations about it.

It's time to change the way we talk about chronic pain. 💙

If chronic pain or neuropathy has touched your life or someone you love, drop a 💙 below.
