Here is me getting my pimple zapped with our YAG laser this morning.

Cystic pimples are difficult to treat because they sit deep within the dermis, far below the reach of topical serums or washes. The YAG laser is used for deep inflammatory acne because of its long wavelength, which bypasses the surface of the skin without disrupting the epidermis.
