We’re excited to shine a spotlight on the providers who make a difference in the lives of our patients. Meet Tracy Rychtera, PA-C, a provider at our Corning Health Center. Tracy is known for taking the time to listen, build trust and truly get to know the people in her care.

For Tracy’s patients, that personal connection makes all the difference. Amelia, one of her longtime patients, says she “trusts no one else with her care.” Even though Amelia lives in Chico, she continues to make the drive to Corning because of the exceptional care she receives from Tracy. Her trust in Tracy runs so deep that her children and grandchildren now see her as their primary care provider, too.

“She listens to me and works with me to address my concerns,” Amelia shared, adding that she simply hasn’t found anyone who provides the same level of compassionate, high-quality care.

As a certified physician assistant, Tracy brings extensive experience in general medicine, women’s health and pediatrics to her practice. Fluent in Spanish, she cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults, and manages a wide range of conditions, including endocrine, cardiac, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, psychiatric, gynecologic, neurologic and pain-related disorders.

Tracy earned her physician assistant certification from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She also holds bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Spanish from California State University, Chico.

Whether she’s caring for a child, an adult or an entire family, Tracy believes in listening first and partnering with her patients to help them live healthier lives.

The sun’s UV rays don’t just affect your skin — they can also damage your eyes.
