Why Four Hands?

With two therapists working in harmony, the brain stops focusing on individual movements and enters a deeper state of relaxation. This allows the hands to soften more quickly and the body to fully receive the therapeutic benefits. Also would like to take this time to thank for planning and creating this event. Bringing therapists together to experience the four-hand massage technique, connect through networking, and focus on self-care made this gathering truly meaningful. Opportunities like this strengthen our community and remind us of the importance of learning, collaboration, and caring for one another as therapists.

Just like on an airplane, where you’re instructed to place your mask on first before helping others, the same applies to life. If you don’t take care of yourself—mentally, physically, and emotionally—you’ll have less to give to those around you.

Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. When you nurture your own well-being, you create space to care for others with a full heart and clear mind. As a massage therapist, I remind my clients: making time for yourself is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. Prioritize your health, recharge your energy, and watch how your ability to support others naturally strengthens.
