What if your provider could see beneath the surface before any needle touched your face?
Thatâs exactly why at Borchard Aesthetics & Wellness we incorporate ultrasound safe mapping before injectable treatments.
Before administering any injection (numbing or filler), we perform an ultrasound scan to evaluate your unique anatomy. This allows us to identify the location of significant blood vessels, assess anatomical variations, and thoughtfully plan each injection before treatment begins.
No two faces are exactly alike. Blood vessels can vary from person to person, and prior filler, scar tissue, or natural anatomy can influence the safest and most effective treatment approach.
Ultrasound helps us:
⨠Map your facial anatomy before treatment.
⨠Identify and help avoid significant blood vessels when planning injection sites.
⨠Choose the most appropriate injection technique based on your individual anatomy.
⨠Personalize every treatment rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Ultrasound is not a replacement for experience or an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy. It is an additional tool that enhances clinical decision-making and supports a safety-first approach.
Our board certified nurse practitioner, Velma Borchard, FNP-BC, believes aesthetic medicine should combine science, technology, precision, and artistry. Every patient deserves a treatment plan thatâs tailored specifically to them.
We think itâs pretty amazing that we have technology that allows us to visualize anatomy before treatment even begins.
Would you think this is a game-changer for patient safety? Weâd love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment below! For patients that have had a scan with us, let everyone know your experience. đ
