We cooled off today with some delicious snow cones! 🍧

Our residents had a rainbow of flavors to choose from, and every cup was filled with frosty fun. Nothing beats a sweet treat and a few smiles on a warm summer day! 🌈☀️

Balloon volleyball for Thursday Therapy. 🎈 It's a fun, low-impact activity with many benefits for our residents. It:

*Improves hand-eye coordination and reaction time
*Encourages gentle movement of the arms, shoulders, and upper body
*Helps maintain range of motion and flexibility
*Builds strength and endurance without using heavy equipment
*Promotes balance and core stability while seated
*Stimulates focus, attention, and quick thinking

And most of all, it encourages laughter, teamwork, and social interaction.

Weekly wrap up: We had a great week at Corrigan LTC! Of course there were lots of bingo games to be played but we also enjoyed Elvis Week this week! It was everything Elvis including trivia, listening to all of his songs (even the gospel songs he recorded), playing a "Name that Elvis Tune" game and playing an Elvis Roll and Win game! Finally we cooled down with a fan favorite, popsicles, thanks to Reliant Hospice! We can't wait to see what's in store for next week! Stay tuned!

Thursday Therapy got a little silly this week! 😂

Our residents tried out a new game called Granny Pants, and it was a hit! Residents took turns tossing balls and trying to land them in the oversized “granny pants.” 👖

But don’t let the silliness fool you—this fun game works on hand-eye coordination, upper-body movement, aiming, motor skills, and range of motion while encouraging lots of laughter and friendly competition!

A big THANK YOU to Nicole and Brittany for jumping in and helping make Thursday Therapy so much fun for our residents! ❤️
