Billy Wayne Pair was born to Jewell and Everett Pair on August 22, 1947, in Caddo, Oklahoma and had several loving siblings that he loved dearly. Billy Pair was an amazing individual; he knew what it was to overcome and endure adversity. His faith in Jesus Christ was steadfast, and he made the Lord and doing the Lord's will the center of his life. The wall of his prayer room was covered in scriptures, and he prayed diligently for all of his loved ones.
He served in the United States Army from 1965-1969 and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a SP4(T), a specialist rank in technical equipment and also specialized in cargo handling. His was honorably discharged after serving a 4-year tour. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Billy Pair is described by his wife, Roxie Pair as an "awesome", "loving" and "amazing" husband. He is praised by his children as a "rock", a "prayer warrior", and "devoted follower of Jesus", "strong", "loving", "kind", and "forgiving". Billy Pair is survived by his wife, Roxie Pair, whom he loved and cherished. Gary Lynn Arnett, born March 15, 1948, in Corsicana, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2026. Gary was born to Frank Arnett and Hattie Horn Arnett. He was raised in Barry, Texas and went on to build a life centered around family, love and the people who meant the most to him.
Gary had a true love for photography and was exceptionally talented at his craft. Photography was more than a hobby for Gary; it was an art through which he captured special moments, people, and memories. His natural eye and talent behind the camera were something those who knew him greatly admired.
Gary proudly served as Fire Chief of the Mustang Volunteer Fire Department. His time with the department was much more than service to his community; it gave him a brotherhood that remained close to his heart throughout his life. Gary considered the men and women of Mustang Volunteer Fire Department his brothers and family for life, and he was deeply proud of the bond they shared.
Gary was known for his contagious laughter and unforgettable smile. No matter how tough life became, he had a way of finding a reason to smile and bringing laughter to those around him. His strength and resilience were an inspiration to the people who knew and loved him.

Wayland Lee Renner, 87, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, with his daughter and son-in-law by his side.

Wayland was born on January 7, 1939, to Alfond and Bessie Renner of Nelsonville, Texas. He spent his childhood working on his family's farm and ranch. He helped plant and harvest corn and cotton beginning around the age of seven, with memories of hand-picking cotton and filling up his tote sack, while also daily tending to the sheep, pigs, chickens, and cattle, and helping his mother care for her large garden.

He went to school in Bellville, elementary through high school, until he graduated in 1958. He played football throughout the years.

During the Berlin Crisis of 1961, Wayland served as a member of the Texas Army National Guard. His military footprint was deeply tied to Bellville's localized involvement in the Cold War. He was part of Bellville's local National Guard Unit - Company C, 386Th Engineer Battalion Combat Unit, popularly known in Austin County history as the "Bellville 49ers". In October 1961, as tensions escalated over the Berlin Wall, President John F. Kennedy federalized his unit alongside the 49Th Armored Division. Wayland and his fellow local guardsmen were mobilized into active U.S. Army Duty. He was deployed with his unit to Fort Polk, Louisiana, where they underwent rigorous combat readiness training to reinforce U.S. forces until they were deactivated and returned home in August...

Randall Blake Belt of Fairfield, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 25, 2026
at the age of 44. Blake was born on September 2, 1981, to Kenneth R. and Aletha Pat Belt in
Woodville, Texas.

Growing up, in Colmesneil, Texas, Blake was known for his witty personality, sense of humor
and selflessness. He had a love for the outdoors, music and a shared passion for mechanics with
his father. In 2013, he and his parents relocated to Fairfield, TX. Blake’s family and friends will
always remember him for his gentle spirit, kindness and quiet strength in the face of adversity.
Blake is survived by his parents, sister, Wendy Zachry, three nephews, Michael, Will and
Matthew Zachry and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Faith Fellowship Baptist
Church of Fairfield (814 I-45, west I-45 service road Fairfield, Tx 75840) at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Faith Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box
1146, Fairfield, Texas 75840. Blake's ashes will be buried at Mann Cemetery in Colmesneil,
Texas at a later date. Blake’s family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this

Ralph Addison Lambert of Fairfield, TX, aged 89, passed away unexpectedly on 08/25/2026 in Waco, TX. He was a pillar of our family and was greatly cherished and will be deeply missed.

Ralph was a 1955 graduate of Fairfield High School and a life-long devoted Fairfield Eagles football fan. He married Cora Sue Childs that same year and began building their life together that would span the next 71 years.

Ralph was a gifted mechanic and provided many years of service to the surrounding community through his business, R&H Muffler. He had a talent for finding creative solutions to tricky problems. His hobby was restoring classic autos and tractors. He meticulously re-built and restored a 1964 corvette of which he was most proud. Ralph also served in another way as an auto mechanics instructor at Corsicana High School for several years. During that time, he mentored many students and gained cherished friendships for life.
Ralph found great joy in his zero-turn lawnmower and could often be seen driving the side streets between his mechanic shop and home residence. He took great pride in maintaining his home place. He had a special talent for getting caught in rainstorms when making these treks! Music was another hobby that gave him great entertainment. He enjoyed multiple genres ranging from oldies rock-n-roll to classical compositions.

Robert McNeil Singleton, 86, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026.

Robert was a devoted husband, loving father, and faithful servant of God. His faith was an important part of his life, and he proudly served as a deacon in his church. He was known for his kind heart, his willingness to serve others, and the love and support he gave to his family.

Robert will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Martha; his son, Robby Singleton, and his wife, Carol; his daughter, Marsha Davis; his son, Wesley Singleton; and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, devotion, and family that will continue through the generations.

Robert was a loving husband and a supportive father who cherished his family. His presence, guidance, and love will be remembered and treasured by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on August 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

Robert’s life was a testament to his faith and his love for God and his family. He will be dearly missed, but his memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Mildred Baptist Church or Bristol Hospice.

Johnnie Odessa Smith "Granny" age 106 passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, at Twilight Nursing Home. She was born on a bright sunny Sunday morning in a farmhouse near Emhouse, Texas on July 4, 1920. Her parents were Charlie and Ethel Lewis Hollingsworth. She was the middle of five siblings.

She attended school in Blooming Grove, graduating in 1937 as an honor student. Although small in stature, she played all the girls sports.

In July of 1936 she gave her life to the Lord. She was baptized at Central Baptist Church in Blooming Grove and began a lifelong service to her Lord and Savior, Jesue Christ. Even in failing health she attended and participated in as many activities at Central as she could.

Her family lived through the Great Depression. Since there was no money and she was too young to work, she held several menial jobs until she was 15. Later she worked for the City of Blooming Grove as secretary, as a Post Office clerk, and for Field Grocery Store and bookkeeper. She married the love of her life, Robert Bill Smith on April 4, 1940. Bill served over three years in the Army Air Corp (later becoming the United States Air Force) in World War II. When he returned, they moved to Dallas and both worked for Proctor & Gamble. After retiring they moved back to Blooming Grove.

In August of 2020, at the age of 100 years old, she decided it was time to go to Twilight Nursing Home. She came alive while at Twilight. She took it...

After a long and valiant battle with cancer, Larry passed peacefully at home from this Life to Life Eternal on July 25, 2026. Born in Baytown, TX, the middle of three sons to Eunice Mae & James Randolph (Jim) Williams. The family moved to Fairfield where Larry's Senior year of FHS he met the love of his life, Carolyn Reed. Larry attended Navarro College and Carolyn went off to Bayfor before soon deciding they simply wanted to do life "together". They married on February 10, 1973, when Larry always lovingly said that his life began. Larry knew right away he wanted to work hard & provide a good life for his family. He was one of the first two employees hired at SuperRock, Inc. in Streetman, TX. He had a tough work ethic; long, hard hours & doing whatever it took to get the job done well. Larry advanced through every buy-out & transfer with TXI; Bobby Rutherford Certified Crushed Stone; D.P. Frost Construction; Gifford-Hill; Hanson Aggregates, earning many Sales Awards including "South Central Region Outstanding Achievement" and running thru every door of opportunity! This work ethic led him to another hard-working, Christian family a.k.a. Conner's Construction where he continued to enjoy the business & pleasure of crushing & selling all the rock possible!
