I have been over 2 and 1/2 years with no booze - it's not that.
It IS about shopping, then cooking, then eating CLEAN - for the next 40 DAYS.
You start by openly, and honestly, telling yourself that are foods you eat that are not healthy, slow you down, interrupt your digestion and sleep, and impair your immune system, and make you feel not great physically, mentally and emotionally.

I am still amazed, astounded, and in awe of how this communication between mother and baby, all non-verbal, is done, every single time. See the animated video on the next page. Just incredible.

But that's just the mechanics. There's so much about breastfeeding that's scientific but feels like magic. For instance, the flavor of breastmilk changes depending on what the person breastfeeding eats, which means baby gets to experience a range of taste sensations starting very early. That may not...

The more we see pregnant Moms, and then the kiddos in our practice, the more I am amazed that 2 cells, from 2 different people, combine and innately know to make that child. Just. Amazing.
