Sweetgrass Physical Therapy & Wellness is a family owned and operated private practice located in Corvallis, Oregon since October of 2021. The practice was originally established in 2011 in Cut Bank MT where it operated for 7 years before the family moved to Oregon. We offer physical therapy services for all ages 5 and up. We also offer a Horse & Rider program geared toward enhancing performance of both the equine and human athlete. Owner Dana Hughes PT, MPT, OCS is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist with over 25 years experience. She is skilled in Counterstrain, a simple method for relieving painful trigger points through simple positioning. She is a lifelong horsewoman with experience in English style riding including Hunters and Equitation, carriage driving, polo and pleasure riding. She has been providing Equine Sports Massage for 25 years and has training in equine stretching, Equine Myofascial Release, saddle fit and riding instruction. In the state of Oregon, no doctor referral is required for a person to participate in Physical Therapy. The horse will need a written referral from their veterinarian to be evaluated and treated by the physical therapist.
