Founded on a tradition of giving the Wayne County Hospital Auxiliary is a non-profit service organization whose mission is to work in conjunction with the Wayne County Hospital by volunteering to promote the health of our community. This volunteer organization augments the programs and services of Wayne County Hospital by hosting numerous fundraising activities throughout the year, presenting mone

tary gifts to the hospital to aid in the purchase of new equipment and provide continued educational training opportunities for staff. Their contributions are far reaching and provide valuable benefits for the patients, families and employees of Wayne County Hospital. This team of volunteers contributes greatly to the high level of care that Wayne County Hospital has successfully provided for over half a century.

At our Auxiliary meeting, we swore in new officers:

Jamie Whitsell (Secretary)

When the Auxiliary was facing the possibility of disbanding due to limited volunteers, these ladies stepped up without hesitation. Their commitment ensures this important group can continue supporting Wayne County Hospital and our community.

We are deeply thankful not only for these new leaders, but also for the many women who served before them and worked tirelessly to keep the Auxiliary going strong. Your time, dedication, and heart truly make a difference. Thank you 🩷

🩸 Blood Drive Reminder 🩸

The Wayne County Hospital Auxiliary hosts 6 blood drives each year at the Corydon United Methodist Church, and tomorrow is one of them!

⏰ 1:30–5:30 PM
📍 Corydon United Methodist Church

This is a reminder for anyone who signed up to donate tomorrow. If you weren’t able to get scheduled, our next blood drive will be held March 12.

❤️ One blood donation can save up to 3 lives.

We had a great Auxiliary Luncheon on Tuesday. Daren Relph, Wayne County Hospital CEO, gave an update on the hospital, and Jamie Whitsell, our new in-house ultrasound tech, gave a speech on her experience as a tech and the new services she will provide to our area.

We served a variety of different salads and pies. Thank you to everyone who helped prepare for the luncheon and to everyone who stopped by to support us!
