Our crew had such a great time at last Saturday’s Trunk or Treat! 🎃🍬

Thank you to everyone in the community who came out, stopped by, and made the afternoon so much fun. We loved getting to see so many families and little ghosts and goblins!

A big thank you to Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices for inviting CCEMS to be part of the event. We’re always grateful for opportunities to connect with the community we’re proud to serve. 🚑❤️

🕰️As you change your clocks back, take a few extra minutes to check an important part of home safety too — your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

Test each detector, replace the batteries if needed, and make sure everything is working properly. It’s also a good time to check the manufacture date, because most smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are designed to last no more than 10 years.

A quick check today can make a big difference for your family’s safety this season.

As trick or treat begins in our community, CCEMS wants to remind everyone to keep safety part of the fun. 🎃👻

Drivers, please slow down and watch closely for children crossing streets, driveways, and parking areas. Parents, make sure costumes fit well, don’t block your child’s vision, and are easy for others to see.

Stay together, cross streets carefully, and check candy before eating.
Have fun, stay alert, and have a safe Halloween, Coshocton County! 🚑🧡

🚑 Meet the Team Monday: Dixie Harmon
Dixie serves as a Paramedic and Captain with CCEMS and has been part of the team for more than 43 years — an incredible amount of time dedicated to serving our community.

A few fun facts about Dixie: she used to do taxidermy and even worked at McMickey’s Bar. If she had a completely free day, she’d spend it taking her 91-year-old mother on a drive.

When she’s not working, Dixie enjoys kayaking, vacations, and being around the water — all things she could happily talk about for hours.

We’re grateful for Dixie’s decades of service, experience, and commitment to CCEMS and Coshocton County. 💙🚑
