Marvel Louise Lewis

Marvel Louise Lewis, 81, of Dresden, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at Altercare Newark North. She was born on December 13, 1944, in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late Frank and Margaret (Luikart) Tidball.

Marvel devoted much of her life to caring for her family, embodying the love, strength, and steady support of a dedicated wife and mother. She worked as a bank teller and accounts payable/receivable clerk in Maryland, and in Colorado as a cashier, where her warm smile brightened customers' days.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures-caring for her beloved cats; enjoying sunny days at the pool or beach; and baking her famous homemade pies, which were loved by family and friends alike.

Marvel is survived by her daughters, Debbie Lewis and Diane Cecil and her husband, W. Scott Cecil; her cherished granddaughter, Katelyn Helene Cecil; and her loving brother, James "Jim" Tidball.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Irene Tidball.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 10:00am - 11:00am with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.

Malinda "Mindy" Chilcote, 55, of Coshocton passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. She was born in Coshocton, OH on February 12, 1971.

Mindy graduated from Coshocton High School and worked as a waitress at the Coshocton Eagles and VFW. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Mindy is survived by her daughters, Courtney (Gage Zimmer) Ryan and Chelsea (Paul Hannahs) Chilcote; mother Jean Kaser; grandchildren Salem and Benzlee Zimmer, Jameson Ryan, and Bronsen Hannahs; siblings Missy (Gregg) Bradford, Lindsey Phillabaum, and Dustin Kaser; Step Mother Pat Holmes; and several nieces and nephews.

Mindy is preceded in death by her father Michael "Mike" Holmes; grandson Jaxtyn Chilcote, sister Shelly Hough; brothers-in-law John Phillabaum and Jeremy Hough; and best friend Kathy "Kat" Hasseman.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH on Friday May 8, 2026 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. A cremation will take place following the services.

Myron Wilson Sr., 79, of Coshocton passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, May 1, 2026. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on February 9, 1947 to the late Jesse and Betty (Rice) Wilson.

Myron worked as a self-employed truck driver all of his life. He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles Lodge and enjoyed racing with his family in his younger years.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanee (Wright) Wilson, who he married May 3, 1964; children Tony (Velma) Wilson, Tracy (Wesley) Mattchett, Myron (Julie) Wilson Jr.; grandchildren Trisha Wilson, Keith Wilson, Alicia (David Bickel) Wilson, Angela (Curtis) Lewis, Tony (Lisa) Gerthing, Jeanee Wilson, Michael (Cassandra) Wilson, Cody (Desiree) Wilson, Taylor (Kye) Morris, Darci (Tyler Brown) Wilson; 31 great grandchildren; sister Penny VanSickle; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Rocky Wilson; grandson Travis Bowling; and seven siblings.

Per Myron's wishes, there will be no services at this time and a cremation will take place. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.

William "Bill" Stubbs

William "Bill" Harold Stubbs, 79, of Coshocton, passed away on April 28, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 26, 1946, in Coshocton, to the late William H. and Donna (Brushwood) Stubbs.

Bill dedicated much of his later life to the world of real estate, a pursuit that brought him great joy alongside his good friend, Tom. He was a social soul, known for his captivating storytelling and infectious laughter. Whether he was sharing tales at family gatherings, enjoying spirited conversations at the casino with his beloved son Tony and friend Tom, or embarking on memorable family trips, Bill's warm spirit was felt by all around him.

Bill is survived by his loving son, Tony (Ann) Stubbs of Michigan; his sister, Susan "Sue" Davis; his girlfriend Kathleen Shaw; and his three grandchildren, Mike, Hannah, and Jack Stubbs. He leaves behind his four-legged companion, DOC 2, who brought him much comfort and joy in his later years.

Per Bill's wishes a cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.

Peggy Cornelius, age 73, of New Concord, passed away on April 25, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1952 in San Diego, California to the late Eugene and Esther (Shipley) Ackley. Upon her high school graduation, Peggy obtained her LPN certification where she worked in the field for a short time. She worked as a waitress and bartender and with her warm, outgoing personality she thrived in making connections with others. She was an animal lover and had three dogs, Jack, Dobby and Pinky that she loved dearly and brought her joy. In the quiet times, she enjoyed knitting and often creating heartfelt gifts that she lovingly shared with family members.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Sam, who she married on August 31, 2002; step children, Kelly (Brad Robinson) Cornelius. Samuel A. (Tonga) Cornelius; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Ali, Maisy, Kiley, Karter and Elizabeth; brother, Victor (Rosanna) Ackley and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Toodles Nicholson, Dick Mauller and Jim Loterbaugh and granddaughter, Madeline Cornelius.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 12p to 2pm. The funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating.

John Dusenberry

John Dusenberry, age 98 of Warsaw, passed away on April 23, 2026 at Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 4, 1927 in Coshocton to the late Edgar and Sylvia (Price) Dusenberry. After his graduation from Warsaw High School, John began a lifelong career in farming. On August 14, 1949, he married Marilyn (Foster) Dusenberry and they continued farming together where they raised Hereford cattle, sheep, hay and a large garden. Together, John and Marilyn traveled the world, visiting all of the continents. John and Marilyn were married for 66 years before her passing in 2015. He was a 70-year member of the Coshocton Masonic Lodge and a longtime member of the Warsaw Presbyterian Church. John was able to stay on the farm for his whole life due to his wonderful group of caregivers.

John is survived by his sister, Mary Hall, along with several nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife, he is preceded in death by his infant son and siblings, William Earl, Harold and Nellie Dusenberry and Hazel Burns.

Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 11am to 12pm. A funeral service will begin at 12pm with a Masonic Service and Rev Bob Mitchell to follow. Burial will take place at Valley View Cemetery.

Michael A. Tamburello, 68, of Dresden passed away at Genesis Hospital on Wednesday April 22, 2026.

Michael was born in Cleveland on April 3, 1958 to the late Donald A. and Alice (Bole) Tamburello.

He loved nature and wildlife in all forms and treasured spending time surrounding himself in the peace he found with it. Mike love to kayak the river with family and friends, going arrowhead hunting and spoiling his animals who he had a genuine love for their antics.

Mike's greatest joy in his life was spending time with his family. He was a soulmate to his wife, rock for his siblings, loving supporter and protector for his children and a source of love and laughter for his grandchildren, he will be deeply missed.

Mike smiled through his eyes and laughed with his whole soul.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra "Sandy" Tamburello who he would have been married to for fifty years this October; two daughters Melissa Ann (Shain) Girton of Dresden and Sonya Nicole (Kevin) Watson of Zanesville; three siblings Deborah (Keith) Ellis, Joseph A. Tamburello and Vicky Fantozzi; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons Anthony Joseph Tamburello and Michael Jason Clemens; two sisters Mary Ann Hambleton and Theresa Ann Callaghn.

Per Mike's wishes, a cremation will take place, no services are planned at this time.

Sara L. Wright, 89, of Coshocton passed away on Monday April 20, 2026.

Sara was born in Coshocton on May 9, 1936, to the late Arthur and Mildred "Millie" (Bantum) Whittemore.

In her earlier years, she worked at Ohio Bell and Shaw Barton. Many remember Sara from her years working at the Coshocton Bowling Alley and Circle K.

She loved animals, especially horses, following her grandchildren's activities; she also treasured spending time with her great grandchildren.

Sara is survived by her daughters Jana VanDusen and Amy (Tim) Milligan both of Coshocton; sister JoAnna (Dick) Kimberly; grandchildren Mark (Katie) Wright, Aaron (Dominiquee) Jennings, Justin (McKayla) VanDusen and Ryan (Kylee) Jennings; great grandchildren Maddison, Juliana, Aubrey, Liam, Cypress, Cooper, Jaxtyn, Jayce, Lenyx and Jazlynn; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Janet Ashman.

A celebration of life will be held at the Coshocton Elks Lodge, 434 Chestnut St., Coshocton on Saturday May 9, 2026 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Phyllis A. Rice, 90, of Coshocton passed away at her home with her loving family by her side on Saturday April 18, 2026.

She was born in Coshocton on May 4, 1935 to the late Harold & Lena (Crater) Corder.

Phyllis graduated from Coshocton High School in the class of 1953 and then married Larry L. Rice on June 6, 1954 who preceded her in death in 2006.

She dedicated her life to her family and church family at Central Christian Church. Phyllis worked as a volunteer at Roscoe Village Foundation for many years and longtime member of Longtime Running Friends INC. She traveled to many ball-games, track meets and special events for her children and grandchildren. She had a great love for all of them and her highlight was her three great grandchildren.

Her family was her life, as she had an enduring love for them all and many lifelong friendships. Holiday’s, Birthday’s and special occasions will not be the same without her, she made them all special.

Phyllis is survived by her children Sharon L. Rice of Coshocton, Lorrie S. (Stephen) Lamneck of Somerset and Matthew J. (Noel) Rice of Coshocton; grandchildren Kurt (Hannah) Shriver, Justin Rice, Ciara (Matt) Bryant, Hunter (Codi Rothacher) Rice and Katie Lamneck; step grandchildren Jeremiah (Lisa) Lamneck, Soloman Lamneck and Angela Pierce; great grandchildren Weston, Aceah and Ezra; step great grandchildren Ethan, Grayden, Samuel, Sylas, Isiaih, Xavier and Gabriel; brothers James (Deborah) Corder and Larry (Cheri) Corder both of Coshocton; brother in law James (Martha) Rice of Circleville; many nieces, nephews and special thank you to cousin Mary White for helping Phyllis.

Joyce was born in Coshocton on November 14,1951 to the late Herman and Hattie (Roach) McVay.

She worked at Ansell-Edmonts for eighteen years and Bob Evans for ten years.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Amy (Robert) Darr of Coshocton; grandchildren Hunter & Buddy Darr; three great granddaughters Alexis Rhodes, Lizzy & Atleigh Darr; great great grandson Bryson and great great granddaughter Mayleigh; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Paul Stowers Jr.; grandson Dustin L. Rhodes; three brothers James "Jimmy", Denvil and Herman McVay Jr.; five sisters Alice Zickafoose, Pauline Jennings, Letta Watson, Phylis Raines and Marilyn Watson.

Catherine “Cathy” Kobel, a cherished soul known for her boundless generosity and vibrant spirit, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, at Oak Pointe Nursing Home, in Baltic.

Born on April 17, 1944, in Nelsonville, Ohio, Cathy’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and community.

A proud graduate of Nelsonville York High School, class of 1962, Cathy continued her education by earning a two-year business degree from Columbus State. Her career was marked by her diligent years of service at Jones Metal in West Lafayette, where she retired after years of committed work. she proud of her leadership role as head of the Relay for Life team at Jones Metal, exemplifying her passion for making a difference.

Cathy was always vibrant and active, embodying the spirit of “always doing something.” Her generous heart was known far and wide; she would readily give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She valued her time deeply with family and friends and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. It was rare for Cathy to miss any of their sporting events, reflecting her unwavering support and love.

Cathy loved gathering with friends at the Janusian Club of West Lafayette and enjoyed the laughter and camaraderie of the card club she attended on Saturday nights. Known for her baking, especially her cakes, she delighted in sharing these homemade treats.

Cathy is survived by her son, Bryan (Machiel) Carroll of West Lafayette; grandchildren Blake (Mikala) Carroll, Chase Carroll, Andrew (Erinn) Getchey, Morgan (Dub) Carroll and Kayla Kobel; great-grandchildren, Holland, Brycen, Laiklynn, and Bailey, who brought additional light to her life; brother, Roger McDaniel of Nelsonville.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester “Jim” Kobel who passed away on February 11, 2025; her parents, Clyde and Lavina McDaniel; stepson Jason Kobel; sisters Louise Zook and Sue Stewart; brother Paul McDaniel; niece Robin Williams, and sister-in-law Charlotte McDaniel.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio Thursday April 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Kraft officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
