You stand up, the room tilts for a second, and you wonder if you should worry.
Most of us have felt some version of this. A little lightheaded, a bit off balance, a foggy moment that passes. A lot of that everyday dizziness is tied to the neck and how it sends position signals to your brain. When the upper neck is stiff, those signals can get noisy, and balance feels off.
That kind of ongoing, mechanical dizziness is worth a careful look. We can check how your neck moves, along with your posture and balance, and help sort out the cause.
Some dizziness is an emergency. If yours comes with a sudden severe headache, slurred speech, one-sided weakness, vision changes, trouble walking, chest pain, or it follows a head injury, skip the routine visit and get emergency care right away. When in doubt about those signs, always choose emergency care first.
For the ongoing, everyday kind, feel free to come in and we will help you figure out what your body is signaling.
