August is already off to a fun start!
🌞🎉 August at GeriActive: Classic Family Fun! 🎉🌞
This August, we're celebrating National Family Fun Month by taking a joyful trip back to the moments that brought families together.
Throughout the month, participants will reminisce, learn, and connect through activities inspired by some of the most beloved forms of entertainment from years gone by, including:
🤹 National Clown Week – Explore the history of the circus, famous performers, and the joy they brought to audiences of all ages.
📻 The Golden Age of Radio – Step back to a time when families gathered around the radio to enjoy comedies, dramas, mysteries, and music together.
🎬 Going to the Movies – Remember classic theaters, iconic films, movie stars, and the excitement of a night at the cinema.
🎲 Classic Childhood Games – From hopscotch and jacks to marbles, board games, and backyard adventures, we'll revisit the games that filled childhood with laughter and connection.
At GeriActive, our monthly curricula are designed using Montessori principles to encourage lifelong learning, meaningful conversation, and active participation. Every lesson is an opportunity to spark memories, strengthen relationships, and celebrate each person's life experiences.
