One thing this journey has reminded me is that 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

And sometimes life puts you in a position where you have no choice but to practice what you preach. ❤️

Tomorrow, I’ll undergo major surgery as part of my journey with stage 4 ovarian cancer.

This year has taught me so much about slowing down, setting boundaries, asking for help, and letting people show up for me.

For every woman who’s used to being the strong one, the dependable one, the one who holds everything together, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗼.

I’m walking into tomorrow with faith, hope, and gratitude.

A queen recently told me that carrying her This Bag Carries Boundaries tote has actually made her stop and think before automatically saying yes.

She said sometimes she looks at the words on the bag and asks herself, “Do I really have the capacity for this?”

That stayed with me.

I love that something she carries every day can also remind her to check in with herself first.

Soft doesn’t mean silent. And boundaries don’t make you difficult.

Sometimes protecting your peace looks like saying no. Sometimes it looks like resting without explaining yourself. Sometimes it looks like choosing you before you reach empty.

That’s the heart behind 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬.

October is 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, and sometimes supporting someone with cancer starts with simply not knowing what to say.

That’s why we created 𝐅 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫. 𝐈’𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞. A coloring and reflection journal made for women navigating cancer.

Getting ready for surgery, but the vibe is still joy, peace, and choosing me. 👑✨

I’m getting things in order, slowing down where I need to, and making room for recovery.

Because protecting your peace also means knowing when to rest, receive support, and let yourself be cared for.

Surgery prep, but make it intentional. 💜

We’re almost at the end of 𝗢𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, but the awareness does not stop when September ends. 🩵

This month has been personal for me. I know firsthand how important it is to pay attention to changes in your body, know the symptoms, ask questions, and advocate for yourself.

Through Mind the Crown, I wanted to turn awareness into action too. For every 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗲 purchased, 𝗦𝟱 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗢𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗠𝗢𝗖𝗔).

The tote is called 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗹, and that name means even more to me now.

𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗲 — 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗼.

September may be ending, but please keep sharing the symptoms, having the conversations, and advocating for yourself and the women you love.

2026 was supposed to be my big year.

I was ready to grow Mind the Crown, add coaching, make more money, and finally have the business really pay me.

Then cancer changed the plan.

Now I have a whole GoFundMe, I’ve had to slow down, accept help, and rethink what success even means.

Some days, that’s hard to sit with.

But I’m learning success can also look like protecting your peace, adjusting the plan, and still finding a way to keep building.

Anybody else ever had a season that completely changed what success means to you?

Now we’re introducing 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 and 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧, and I’m continuing to think about how this collection can grow in different shapes and styles.
