Mind the Crown

Mind the Crown Helping women challenge the superwoman myth and embrace a soft life through our amazing products.

05/31/2026

At Mind the Crown, we often talk about choosing gratitude, even in difficult seasons.

Today, our founder, Adrianna, is being honest about something many people don’t talk about enough: you can be grateful and angry at the same time.

Grateful that treatment is working. Grateful for community, support, and every new day.

But also frustrated by the unexpected detours, the plans put on hold, and the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on a dream you’ve worked hard to build.

Both feelings are valid.

As Adrianna continues her cancer journey, she remains committed to the mission of Mind the Crown: helping women prioritize themselves, protect their peace, and remember that self-care isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

Thank you for supporting this small business during this season. Every purchase, share, comment, and word of encouragement means more than you know.

💙 They arrived early! 💙

Our limited-edition Resilience Teal “This Bag Carries Boundaries” totes have arrived ahead of schedule, and we’re excited to share them with you!

To celebrate, we’re honoring the presale price through June 7.

More importantly, this tote is about more than fashion. For every Resilience Teal tote sold, $5 will be donated to the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) to support ovarian cancer awareness, education, and advocacy.

Our goal is to donate $500, and every purchase helps us get closer.

Thank you for supporting a small business with a purpose and for standing with our community as we raise awareness about ovarian cancer.

💙 Carry your boundaries.
💙 Carry your strength.
💙 Carry a cause.

How many times have you left a doctor’s appointment wishing you had asked one more question?

Or left a meeting at work without saying what you really needed to say?

Advocating for yourself is a form of self-care.

It means asking questions.
It means setting boundaries.
It means speaking up when something doesn’t feel right.

As I’ve navigated ovarian cancer, I’ve learned that your voice can be one of your most powerful tools.

Here are a few practical tips on advocating for yourself with your doctor.

And if you’re local, join us on June 10 at Resilience: A Shop & Support Experience. We’re not only providing education on ovarian cancer. We’ll also practice real-world self-advocacy skills that women can use in healthcare, at work, and in everyday life.

Because your health matters.
Your voice matters.
And you deserve to be heard.

I recently interacted with a nurse who was lightheartedly explaining the different colors of chemo drugs, and honestly… it brought a little humor into a hard experience. 💛

But it also reminded me how often people only see what’s visible on the surface while missing what someone may be carrying underneath.

This journey has made me reflect deeply on the women I created Mind the Crown for. So many women are carrying invisible side effects every day — burnout, stress, grief, caregiving, anxiety — while still showing up and performing.

One thing treatment has taught me is that sometimes the chemo itself is the easiest part. It’s the side effects that are hard.

Sharing this journey publicly is helping me take some of the fear out of cancer while reinforcing why the work of Mind the Crown matters so much to me.

𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓. ❤️

Wow. Thank you.

Resilience: A Shop & Support Experience is officially sold out, and my heart is so full. What was created during one of the hardest seasons of my life is now becoming a room full of community, support, awareness, softness, and real connection.

Thank you for supporting Mind the Crown, supporting ovarian cancer awareness with MOCA, and supporting me through this journey.

I cannot wait to gather with you all on June 10. ✨

Come as you are. Leave lighter.

Every 3 weeks, my mom takes me to chemo and doctor’s appointments. ❤️

This journey has reminded me that strength isn’t always about holding everything together. Sometimes strength looks like allowing yourself to be cared for too.

My mom has become my second set of ears during appointments, my chemo partner, and one of the people helping me get through this season with love and laughter.

Meanwhile, I’m over there getting snacks, blankets, and even fell asleep during a massage at my last treatment while she sat there for hours beside me. 😂

At Mind the Crown, we talk a lot about rest, support, and community. This season has made those words even more real for me.

Grateful for my village. Especially my mom. 💕

I added 2 more tickets and that’s officially it. 🩵

I’m intentionally keeping this event small because I really want the atmosphere to feel warm, meaningful, and comfortable for everyone in the room.

Mind the Crown’s Resilience: A Shop & Support Experience is bigger than shopping. It’s about community, awareness, sisterhood, and taking a moment to slow down, connect, and learn together.

I’m truly looking forward to this one.

We added 2 more tickets… and that’s really it. 💛

I’m intentionally keeping Resilience: A Shop & Support Experience intimate because some conversations deserve a softer space. A space to learn, connect, laugh, and pour into each other while also talking about the importance of advocating for our health and wellness.

This event is about community, awareness, healing, and showing up for ourselves and each other.

So many women are carrying the weight of leadership, caregiving, entrepreneurship, burnout, and survival while still trying to show up polished, productive, and “strong.”

But real strength sometimes looks like slowing down.
Receiving support.
Letting grace carry you.

Wednesday was my 4th chemo treatment. Surgery has been pushed back, but the treatment is working and I’m deeply grateful because this could be a very different conversation.

This season has challenged everything we stand for at Mind the Crown: rest, boundaries, softness, and redefining success. Maybe the real rebellion is refusing to abandon yourself while going through hard things.

I’m still showing up. Just differently now. 🤍
