💙 Celebrating CNA & Caregiver Week – Honoring Amy! 💙

This week, (June 11-17) we proudly recognize Amy, one of the dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants at Baxter Health Home Health⁠, and celebrate the invaluable role caregivers play in the lives of our patients.

Amy’s work is often behind the scenes, but its impact is immeasurable. Through her compassionate care, she helps patients maintain their dignity, independence, comfort, and personal hygiene as they recover from illness, injury, or surgery in the comfort of their own homes. Her kindness, patience, and dedication make a difference every single day.

Caregivers and CNAs are the heart of healthcare. They provide not only physical assistance but also emotional support, encouragement, and companionship during some of life’s most challenging moments. Their work requires strength, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others.

Thank you to the Mruk Center on Aging for hosting the fall prevention fair today! The turnout of both vendors and participants was amazing! We appreciate the opportunity to share with our community about the services offered through Baxter Health Home Health as well as learning about other awesome providers in our area.

Our administrative staff are the glue that holds everything together—supporting our nurses and therapists, communicating with families, managing the details, and making sure care is delivered efficiently and compassionately.

Your organization, dedication, and problem-solving don’t go unnoticed. You help turn what could be overwhelming into something seamless, allowing our clinical team to focus on what matters most—our patients.

In recognition of Occupational Therapy Month, Baxter Health Home Health would like to give a big shoutout to our amazing Occupational Therapists, Craig Batterton and Talli Vance!👏

Our Occupational Therapists spend their days helping patients do something we all take for granted—live safely and independently in their own homes (and yes, that includes conquering buttons, showers, and the occasional stubborn jar lid 💪).

Occupational Therapy isn’t just about exercises—it’s about real life. Our skilled OTs help our patients relearn daily tasks, improve strength and coordination, and figure out creative ways to make their home environment work for them, not against them. From energy conservation tips to home safety modifications, they are basically part therapist, part problem-solver, and part life-hack expert.

At Baxter Home Health, that work matters even more—because there’s no place like home, and Craig and Talli help make sure our patients can stay there comfortably and confidently.

Today, on National Doctors Day, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible physicians who make a difference in the lives of so many.

At Baxter Health Home Health, we are especially grateful for our Medical Director, Dr. Michael Hodges. His dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to our patients truly set him apart. Dr. Hodges is not only a trusted leader but also an invaluable resource to our team as we care for patients and support families in the home setting.

Baxter Home Health appreciates having a physician who recognizes and understands the importance of meeting patients where they are. We are thankful for Dr. Hodges’ guidance, expertise, and heart for service.
