What does the bear stand for? Stoicism, protection, and love. Bears protect their young ferociously but also know when it’s time to let go. The bear observes, it doesn’t absorb. I think of the stoic part like my dad, which is why I have the tattoo. He was my bear, his love never failed, he loved me without conditions.
