Sweden Valley's Family & Resident Picnic

Sweden Valley residents, families, and staff enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at our Family & Resident Picnic! Guests gathered to enjoy a delicious meal featuring grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, fresh fruit, and a variety of tasty desserts.

To complement our Western cowboy theme, we served refreshing birch beer, non-alcoholic, of course! 🤠

The afternoon was filled with fun activities, including games, co****le, and the crowd favorite, the dunk tank, which was enjoyed by both staff and guests. There were plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and memorable moments shared throughout the day.

A special thank you to Mother Nature for providing a beautiful summer day, making the picnic a perfect opportunity for residents, families, and staff to come together and enjoy each other's company.

Our Maintenance Supervisor, Devin, stepped up as grill master for the day, and he did an outstanding job! From hot dogs to hamburgers, everything was served fresh off the grill and enjoyed by all. Thank you, Devin, for helping make the day a success and keeping everyone well-fed with a delicious cookout! 🍔🌭👏

Our newest resident had 3 generations of her family joining her for the afternoon to enjoy the sunshine and our picnic.

Her grandsons even joined in for a friendly game of corn hole with some Sweden Valley staff. They failed to mention, they’ve played the game before and quite well.

A friendly game of co****le between staff and some very competitive family members provided plenty of laughs and entertainment for everyone watching. Friendly rivalry, cheering spectators, and a lot of spirited competition made for a fun-filled activity that brought smiles to participants and onlookers alike. 😊🏆🌽

🐾 Sweden Valley had a special visitor this week!

Meet Baloo, the beloved pup of our HR Manager, Amanda. We're not exactly sure which position Baloo was applying for, but he certainly won over everyone he met! 😄

Our staff and residents always enjoy visits from our four-legged friends. Thank you, Baloo, for brightening our day! ❤️

We were delighted to welcome Pastor Greg Rapp from Coudersport today! He shared his incredible musical talent with our residents through a wonderful singalong filled with beautiful songs and great memories. These moments of music and fellowship mean so much to our residents. Thank you, Pastor Greg, for bringing smiles, joy, and music to our community! 🎵😊
