On Juneteenth, we honor a pivotal moment in American history and celebrate the enduring values of freedom, resilience, and hope.
Observed each year on June 19, Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Texas learned of their emancipation, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. Today, it serves as a time to reflect on our nation’s journey, recognize the contributions of Black Americans, and continue striving toward understanding, equality, and unity.
As we remember the past and celebrate progress, we wish everyone a meaningful Juneteenth.
❤️💛💚 Happy Juneteenth. 💚💛❤️
