The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends all youth 12 years and older be vaccinated against COVID-19. Getting vaccinated offers an added layer of protection for our school’s staff and students, families, and community.

Children’s is focused on continuing to invest in pediatric research. Our Child Health Research Institute, in collaboration with University of Nebraska Medical Center - UNMC, is investigating ways to cure diseases for future generations, including RSV, and is seeking research study participants. MELODY is a clinical research study looking at an investigational medication to see how safe it is and whether it works to prevent respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) disease in healthy babies.
