What phase is your spine in?

Dr. Mark breaks down what a healthy, normal spine should look like and how the spine can change over time as degeneration progresses.

➡️ Phase 0: Healthy Curve and spaces
➡️ Phase 1: Loss of the normal spinal curvature
➡️ Phase 2: Degenerative disc changes begin to develop
➡️ Phase 3: More advanced degeneration, including bone spurs and arthritis

These changes don’t always happen overnight, and understanding what’s happening in your spine can be an important first step toward figuring out what may be contributing to your pain, stiffness, numbness, or limited mobility.

👀 After watching Dr. Mark explain the different phases… what phase do you think YOU might be in?

Your pelvis is the foundation of your body’s alignment. When it’s out of place, hips and knees take the hit over time—just like tires wearing unevenly when a car is misaligned. Check and correct your pelvic alignment now to protect your joints and prevent future hip and knee problems before they start.

Neck pain isn’t caused by your sleep—it’s caused by what you do during the day. Long hours at a desk, on your phone, or in front of a computer strain your spine and muscles. Counter it with stretching, ice, and spinal care before bed to support proper alignment and a restful night.

Masking nerve pain with medication doesn’t solve the problem—it only hides it. True relief comes from addressing the root cause: improving blood flow, enhancing nerve function, and reducing inflammation. These can be achieved naturally, without surgery or drugs, by supporting your body to heal and function the way it was designed to.

Exercise does more than build muscle—it fuels your body from the inside out. Increased circulation delivers nutrients where they’re needed most, and proper movement keeps nerves active and functional. Staying active protects balance, prevents pain, and supports long-term health. Exercise isn’t just a habit—it’s a foundation for a fully functioning body.

The best time to take care of your body is before the pain starts. Waiting until your 30s, 40s, or 50s to prioritize your health can cost you years of mobility, strength, and quality of life. The more proactive you are now, the more healthy years and energy you’ll have later. Don’t just add years to your life—add life to your years.

Your body was designed to heal. When it has the right support through proper nutrition, movement, and function, it can do what it was created to do: repair, recover, and restore. Instead of only masking symptoms, focus on building a body that can truly heal from the inside out.

The best time to take care of neck pain is before it ever starts. Too many people wait until the discomfort is already affecting their daily life, when prevention could have made all the difference. Staying proactive with stretching, exercise, mobility work, and regular body maintenance can help you move better, feel better, and avoid bigger problems down the road. Protect your health before pain forces your attention.
