A little nostalgia, a little mystery, and a whole lot of entertainment! 🎙️

Christwood took a trip back in time with an Old Time Radio Show, bringing the classic radio mystery The Voice on the Wire to life through a live performance. With dramatic dialogue, suspenseful storytelling, and a touch of old-fashioned charm, the show captured the magic of a time when radio brought stories to life through sound and imagination.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and a little suspense, reminding us that some forms of entertainment never go out of style!

🌳 A meaningful moment at Christwood!

We gathered to plant a tree in honor of Judge Larry John Green, celebrating his legacy with a lasting tribute that will continue to grow for years to come.

At Christwood, we believe the most meaningful legacies are those that continue to make an impact for generations. 💚

Friday marked a meaningful moment in the story of Christwood as plans for a new chapel on campus were unveiled.

The evening brought together leadership, community, and friends of Christwood to celebrate a vision rooted in faith, connection, and a lasting sense of place. Following the presentation, guests gathered over food, conversation, and music to share in the excitement of what lies ahead.

A beautiful evening—and the beginning of something truly special.

If you would like to support this vision, donations can be made at ChristwoodRC.com or by calling the Christwood Foundation office at (985) 292-1201.

There’s some serious talent in this room! 🎨✨ The Drawing for Beginners class with Chryl Casso Corizzo brought out plenty of creativity, and we’re loving the results.

A little wildlife wisdom came to Christwood! 🦉 Our residents enjoyed an engaging presentation from a guest speaker from Clearwater Sanctuary, learning more about their important work rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife and protecting our local environment.

Clearwater’s work extends beyond wildlife rehabilitation, with gardens and nature-focused programs that connect people with the world around them. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to experience their work firsthand, consider visiting their gardens and learning more about all they do for wildlife and our community. 🌿

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect and grow forward together!
