On this Memorial Day, we remember all those who gave their lives — and we celebrate those who came home carrying the weight of that sacrifice ever since.

We are honored to share photos from our 4th Annual Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal Ceremony, where we recognized two WWII veterans alongside 7 other veterans whose service to our country is truly worthy of celebration.

Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Jerome Buller (Deputy Secretary, LDVA), Brig. Gen. Michael Cushman, Col. Karl Mapes, Fr. Steve Holzhalb, Rev. David Henry, and the Post 16 Honor Guard for their presence and dedication to honoring our heroes.

May we never take for granted the freedom they fought to protect. 🇺🇸

Our annual Cinco de Mayo party brought the fun last week! 🌮🎉 The Community Center at Christwood was filled with music, great food, and even better company as residents and members celebrated together all afternoon long. Good vibes, full plates, and lots of laughs… just how we like it. 🎶💃
