Responsibilities
You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of women's health conditions and provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including:
• Menopause Management

• Vulvar disorders

• Annual well-woman examinations
• Pelvic examinations and Pap testing
• Breast health screening and counseling
• Contraceptive counseling and management
• IUD insertion and management
• Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Evaluation and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding
• Diagnosis and treatment of s*xually transmitted infections
• Endometrial and vulvar biopsies
• Colposcopy experience (willingness to be trained)

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved removing old warnings from hormone therapy. By removing those risk statements from the most prominent part of the label, the FDA intends to help clinicians and patients have more nuanced, evidence-based conversations about the benefits and risks of hormone therapy for menopausal symptoms. Recent scientific evidence and expert reviews suggested those older warnings overstated risk for many women, especially when therapy is started within about 10 years of menopause or before age 60.
