Freedom Within is a veteran’s owned mental health therapy practice with a simple mission, to help you, "Re-Define Yourself" What this means and looks like is entirely up to you, and the process you choose to embark on during therapy is for you to decide. The process is and will be different for every person. My approach comes from a place of compassion and non-judgment with your best interest as

the guide. Although I feel I have much to offer those I work with, by helping to process thoughts, feelings, and emotions, providing resources, and, simply being available to listen; the change comes from within you. That's where Freedom Within and "Redefine Yourself" comes from. We offer Marriage therapy and Pre-Marriage therapy, Family counseling PTSD/Trauma-focused treatment, etc.

Faith Through the Storm

Life will test your strength. There will be moments when fear, uncertainty, loss, and adversity make it difficult to see the path ahead. In those moments, don’t rely solely on your own understanding or strength. Turn to the One who never changes.

When we call upon the Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded that our struggles do not define us; our faith does. God often uses our greatest trials to prepare us for our greatest purpose. Every setback can become a testimony when we trust Him to lead us forward.

“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30

May today be the day you surrender your burdens to Christ and allow Him to strengthen your heart, renew your hope, and lead you into the purpose He has prepared for your life.

There’s hope of a resolution after mental health providers across the country who serve veterans through the VA’s Community Care Network were being asked to pay back thousands in alleged overpayments.

This Memorial Day, clinicians who help fight the mental battles that many who serve in our armed forces face after returning home are facing a crisis of their own.
