Meet another one of our awesome hospitalists, Dr. Meredith Delp, DO, FACOG!

Dr. Meredith Delp, DO, has been dedicated to Obstetrics and Gynecology in Georgia since completing her residency in Alabama in 2013. With seven years of experience in private practice, she has transitioned to the role of an OB/GYN hospitalist over the past four years.

As an OB/GYN hospitalist, Dr. Delp focuses solely on providing exceptional care to patients within the hospital setting, allowing the other physicians in the practice to dedicate their attention to office consultations, surgical procedures, and other responsibilities. Dr. Delp’s main areas of interest are hypertension and preeclampsia during pregnancy, as well as promoting exercise and overall wellness for expectant mothers.

She resides in Monroe, GA, with her husband, who is also a physician, her two children, five dogs, and two cats. Outside of medicine, she enjoys equestrian activities, exercise, reading, and spending time with her family.

We are proud to share that Dr. Samuels has earned her Focused Practice Designation (FPD) in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

This distinction is awarded to physicians who demonstrate advanced expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery by completing extensive specialty-specific continuing medical education, submitting a full year of surgical case data demonstrating a broad and complex surgical practice, and successfully passing a rigorous board examination.

This achievement is about more than passing an examination. The Focused Practice Designation represents one of the highest recognitions of advanced expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Samuels achieved this milestone while continuing to care for patients, perform surgery, conduct clinical research, mentor future physicians, care for her family, and fulfill the many responsibilities of a busy medical practice—demonstrating the dedication and perseverance that define exceptional physicians.

Meet Dr. Meridith Farrow, one of our esteemed hospitalists!

Meridith J. Farrow, MD, was born and raised in Covington, GA. Over the past few years, she has taken on the role of an OB Hospitalist, helping ensure that each patient receives the attention they need.

Dr. Farrow’s areas of interest are diagnosing female cancers, treating menopausal patients, and helping our female patients overcome s*xual problems and gain s*xual awareness.

She lives in Covington with her husband and daughter. She is also an avid pet lover, with two dogs, two hairless cats, and two geckos. Her family tradition is volunteer service, and she enjoys being involved in local nonprofit events, such as those hosted by the Newton County Arts Association.
