๐จ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ก is a self-taught, eclectic poet and artist, and mentor based in the Greater New Orleans region. He is a physician by training and an anatomic pathologist by specialization, working as a scientist in India for eight years and in Massachusetts for 22 years before relocating to the South 10 years ago.
In addition to being a member of The New England Poetry Club, he is a Copley Artist at the Copley Society of Art, Boston, the oldest private art association in the country. We are thrilled to have his work on display, and you may contact him about any of his pieces at www.Cariappa.net, (508) 259-9225 or at [email protected].
๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ's work is rooted in noticingโlight through trees, quiet moments in nature, and the movement of color and emotion. After a traumatic brain injury in 2022, creating became a different kind of language for her. Where words and structure became harder, color and intuition became clearer.
Through abstract painting and black and white photography, Elora explores both movement and stillness. In a healthcare setting like ours, healing art creates space for moments of calm and grounding. Her work invites pause, offering a place to release, reflect, and gently process. We are honored to have her work on display, and you may contact her about any of her pieces at (504) 223-4658 or [email protected].
Visit their work at St. Tammany Health System's Main Campus Lobby through August 17. Visit www.sthfoundation.org/HealingArts for more information.
