We wanted to spotlight one of our very talented Sage Lake family members, Adair Watkins, who graciously shared her time and creativity with our community. 💙

She created our very own “Sage Lake” mural especially for our Generations residents, bringing a beautiful touch of nature, color, and warmth to their home.

Adair Watkins has taught visual art over the course of an illustrious 41 year career from Sacred Heart to St. Martin's to Fontainebleau Junior High and beyond. As talented as she is as an artist, she found her true joy in education, in teaching others to look for the beauty in everything. Doing so led her to earn titles such as St. Tammany Parish Public School Teacher of the Year and Louisiana Art Educators Teacher of the Year. In her retirement, she enjoys can still be found looking for the beauty in everything, usually searching for four leaf clovers or spotting rainbows with her grandchildren.
