Grief looks different for everyone, and healing isn’t something you have to face by yourself.

If you’ve experienced the loss of a loved one, we invite you to join our Monthly Grief Support Group. This is a safe, welcoming place to listen, share if you feel comfortable, and spend time with others who understand the journey of grief.

No matter where you are in your healing process, you’ll be met with compassion, support, and understanding.

Happy Fourth of July from Cozad Community Health System!

In observance of Independence Day, our Cozad and Eustis Medical Clinics will be closed Friday, July 3rd. The Cozad Medical Clinic will also be closed Saturday, July 4th

As we celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and those who have served to protect them.

We hope you're soaking up every minute of summer ☀️😎, but don't let back to school deadlines sneak up on you!

If your child is due for an Annual Well-Child Visit, now is the perfect time to get it scheduled. Well-Child Visits are typically covered at 100% by insurance as a preventive service and meet the requirements for:
✔️ Kindergarten
✔️ 7th Grade
✔️ Participation in NSAA activities (including sports)

Important Cozad Community Schools deadlines:
📚 Kindergarten & 7th Grade physicals must be completed by the first day of school, August 12.
🏈 Sports physicals must be completed before participating in any NSAA activities. Fall sports practices begin August 10.

NOTICE: Cozad Community Hospital Board of Director’s Special Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, June 19, 2026, 7:00am.

The meeting will be held at Cozad Community Hospital in the Conference Room, located at 300 E. 12th Street, Cozad, NE 69130.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Meadowlark Pointe.

Cozad Community Health System is proud to have been the sponsor of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Health & Wellness Tent at the 2026 Cattlemen’s Ball.

Enjoy these photo booth snapshots from an incredible weekend!

Many attendees may have stopped by for the photo booth and giveaways, but stayed for the valuable health information and resources.

From the UNMC on site genetic insight testing and cancer prevention education to interactive displays, games, and screening resources, our goal was to help individuals and families feel informed, empowered, and inspired to take charge of their health.

We were glad to invite Gothenburg Health and Lexington Regional Health Center to partner with us and “Unite for a Cause” to educate, encourage, and support healthier communities across our region.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the tent and helped make this year's Cattlemen's Ball such a meaningful success. 💙💚
