📚✏️ Back to School Season is Here! 🍎🚌

As backpacks are packed, alarms are set a little earlier, and classrooms begin to fill again, all of us at Yampa Valley Healthcare Center would like to wish every student, teacher, school staff member, and family an incredible school year!

Whether it's your child's very first day of kindergarten, their senior year, or anywhere in between, we hope this year is filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories.

To all of the amazing parents, grandparents, and caregivers, especially those balancing work while getting everyone ready for the new school year, we see you. Your hard work and dedication never go unnoticed.

And to our residents, thank you for sharing your wisdom, stories, and encouragement with the next generation. Your experiences continue to inspire us every day.

Many of you know us as Sandrock Ridge Care & Rehab. Under new ownership, we are now Yampa Valley Healthcare Center, and we're working hard to rebuild our relationship with our community.
With so many positive changes happening within our facility, we're also looking for ways to open our doors and create more opportunities for our residents to connect with the wonderful people of Moffat County. We truly believe that building those connections benefits everyone involved.
We'd love to hear from our amazing community! ❤️
We're always looking for new ways to bring our community and our residents together. What are some things you would love to see that would include our residents while also benefiting our community?
Some of our residents' absolute favorite moments are when local children visit during Halloween, when school classes come sing for them, share artwork they've created, perform music, or simply spend a little time visiting. Those moments may seem small, but they truly mean the world to our residents and bring so much joy and warmth to their hearts.
We'd love to hear your ideas! Whether it's:
Art projects
Choir or band performances
Story time with local students
Therapy animal visits
Community game days
Gardening projects
Holiday events
Volunteer opportunities..or something completely different!
Our goal is to continue building meaningful connections between generations and creating opportunities that brighten our residents' days while strengthening our community as a whole.

To our incredible residents, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and for sharing your stories, laughter, and smiles with us every day.

To our amazing staff, your compassion, dedication, and hard work do not go unnoticed. Whether you're providing direct care, preparing meals, keeping our facility beautiful, or supporting behind the scenes, you make Yampa Valley Healthcare Center feel like home.

And to our families and community, thank you for your continued trust and support. We are grateful to serve Craig and the surrounding communities.

🎉✨ A Huge Congratulations to Brianna! ✨🎉

Today we're celebrating an incredible milestone for one of our very own!

Brianna's journey has been nothing short of inspiring. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), continued on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and now she has officially achieved her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN)! 🎓🩺

This accomplishment represents years of hard work, determination, and sacrifice. While raising her children, working full-time, and balancing the demands of school, Brianna never gave up on her dream. Her dedication is a true testament to what perseverance and passion can accomplish.

We couldn't be more excited for her and can't wait to see where this next chapter takes her. The future is incredibly bright, and we know she will continue making a difference in the lives of so many.

Brianna, thank you for being such an important part of the Yampa Valley Healthcare Center family. We are so proud of everything you've accomplished and are honored to celebrate this moment with you.

On Saturday, we were delighted to welcome a community member and his precious puppies for a special visit with our residents. The cuddles, laughter, and puppy kisses made for a wonderful afternoon and created memories that will warm our hearts for a long time.

We were honored to welcome the Moffat County Fair Royalty, who joined us for tea, snacks, and a lively game of bingo. They not only called the numbers but also helped residents whenever they needed a hand, making the experience even more special.
