Happy Labor Day! 💼

For people in recovery from substance use disorder, meaningful employment can be an important part of building a fulfilling and stable life.

A job can provide purpose, connection, confidence and financial stability while creating opportunities to learn new skills and work toward personal goals.

This Labor Day, let’s recognize the role that meaningful work can play in recovery and the importance of creating opportunities for people to contribute, grow and build their future.

💜 September is Su***de Prevention Month.

You may not always know what someone is experiencing. A check-in, a listening ear or a resource shared at the right moment can make a real difference. Su***de prevention starts with connection.

Throughout September, Solving SUD Together will be sharing resources and reminders to help encourage conversations, reduce stigma and support those who may be struggling.

💜 Recovery looks different for everyone.

September is National Recovery Month, a time to celebrate the strength, resilience and journeys of people in recovery while recognizing that support can make a difference.

Recovery can mean rebuilding relationships, finding purpose, reaching new goals or simply taking the next step forward. There is no single path to recovery and every journey matters.

This month, we’re celebrating recovery, challenging stigma and reminding our communities that recovery is possible.

💜 Remember. Support. Act.

On International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost to overdose, stand with those who are grieving and support individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.

Every person deserves compassion, understanding and access to support. Together, we can reduce stigma, strengthen our communities and remind those struggling that help is available and recovery is possible.

🐾 Connection Can Help Us Heal.

For many of us, dogs offer something simple but meaningful: companionship, comfort and a reason to feel connected. 🧡

Strong connections can play an important role in mental health and recovery from substance use disorder. Whether it’s a friend, family member, support group, healthcare provider or a four-legged companion, having people and relationships that remind us we’re not alone matters.

This National Dog Day, let’s celebrate the dogs who bring comfort into our lives and remember the power of connection in all its forms.

🕯️ Overdose Can Impact Any Person, Any Community.

Substance use and overdose affect people from all walks of life. Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a community impacted by loss, grief, and the ongoing need for support.

As International Overdose Awareness Day approaches on August 31, we’re highlighting the importance of education, compassion, and connection. Many overdose deaths can be prevented through awareness, access to resources, and lifesaving tools like naloxone, which can help reverse an opioid overdose when given in time.

💜 Whether you are seeking support, supporting someone you love, or remembering someone lost to overdose, you are not alone. Help, hope, and resources are available.
