Cranford Prevention & Wellness is proud to share information about New Jersey’s 11th Annual Su***de Prevention Conference, taking place virtually on Thursday, September 10.

This year’s conference, Building the Bridges of Hope: Upstream Approaches to Su***de Prevention, will bring together experts and professionals for a day of learning, conversation and breakout sessions focused on prevention, reducing stigma and supporting mental wellness.

At CPAW, we believe that prevention starts with education, connection and making sure our community has the tools and resources to support one another.

The event is free and virtual!

We encourage anyone interested in learning more to register and join the conversation.

A look back to last month...

We were grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of the Cranford Prevention & Wellness Committee with our community at the Town Council meeting.

Our goal is simple: to promote healthy, informed choices and help reduce the risks associated with underage substance use through education, awareness and connection.

The future of our community depends on the well-being of our youth and prevention starts with all of us. Thank you to everyone who supports this important work.

With parades, gatherings, and celebrations happening around town, it’s a great time to remember that holidays can sometimes bring an increase in binge drinking and substance misuse. At CPAW, we encourage our community to celebrate responsibly and look out for one another.

Whether you’re attending the parade, hosting friends or enjoying time with family, choosing safe and responsible behaviors helps keep our community healthy and strong. Modeling responsible choices also sends an important message to the young people in our community.
