Comforting a child who has recently lost a parent, sibling, or other significant person is a difficult and sometimes painful task. Support from others, especially peers, can help children recognize they are not alone in their grief and can assist them to find ways to cope with their losses. Providing the support to the grieving children in our lives often frees us to grieve our own losses.

Atlantic Visiting Nurse is pleased to announce their 16th year of Camp Clover—a bereavement day camp for children and teens grades 1-8.

Camp Clover is designed to be a safe place where children are encouraged to talk openly about their thoughts, feelings, and fears. As they share memories with fellow campers, they learn they are not alone in their grief.

Camp Clover offers fun, interactive, and educational activities to help with the grieving process as well as traditional camp activities which include swimming, sports and arts and crafts. It is our hope that children will emerge from their camp experience with new coping skills to help them in their journey through their grief. Camp Clover is staffed by professional grief counselors and trained volunteers and will run from August 17th through August 20th, 2026.

Camp Clover is funded by donations and is FREE to all children. Additionally, camp will provide busing and lunch. Camp Clover is located on the grounds of Camp Riverbend, 116 Hillcrest Road, Warren, NJ.

Please contact the organizers at 973-379-8444 if you have any questions regarding Camp Clover. Families can register online at atlantichealth.org/campclover.

Reducing avoidable hospitalizations is a financial imperative as well as a clinical one.

This session at the conference this June will explore the strategies used by leading home health agencies to lower readmissions and improve patient outcomes. From early risk stratification and front-loaded care models to 24/7 nurse triage, telehealth urgent care, and addressing social determinants of health, learn which interventions are making the greatest impact where.

Participants should walk away with practical tools to better manage the critical first 60 days of care, based on real-world insight from agencies already seeing measurable results.

Led by Kristofer Smith—Co Founder, President, and CMO of Ruby Health.

2 WEEKS AWAY! We're rallying on behalf of the amazing NURSES who provide continuous care to thousands of patients, from the comfort and dignity of their homes, every day.

Help us show lawmakers the real human impact when Medicaid reimbursement rates for at-home nursing services stay underfunded. We DEMAND a $4 rate increase NOW!

We need as much representation across New Jersey home care (patients and providers) as possible. Join us May 19 at 9 AM, in front of NJ State House Annex in Trenton: homecarenj.org/rally ⬅️ Let us know if you can attend!

At-home nursing and personal care assistant services are not reimbursed through Medicaid at a rate that home care agencies can reliably sustain. This means employee recruitment and retention fall behind, and the quality and continuity of patient care suffers. Patients and families cannot continue to...
