How aligned is your leadership team across functions?

On October 14, we’re bringing home care directors and executives together in Union, NJ for The Agency Alignment Advantage—a free, interactive working session and reception facilitated by Larry Prince of PrinceLeadership.

Senior leaders across Clinical, Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance, Quality, Growth and other key functions will have the opportunity to step outside the day-to-day, compare perspectives, identify where coordination breaks down, and explore practical ways to work together more effectively.

Agencies are encouraged to bring a cross-functional leadership team, but individual directors and partial teams are welcome.

📣 New federal home health action alert from HCHANJ

S.5250, the Medicare Home Health Payment Integrity and Protection Act of 2026, addresses both Medicare home health payment integrity and stronger program oversight.

The legislation seeks to address payment policies affecting legitimate home health providers while strengthening targeted tools to identify and combat fraud—including enrollment screening, oversight, and enforcement measures.

The goal is an important one for home health: identify and stop fraud without allowing bad actors or unreliable data to undermine responsible providers and beneficiary access to care.

HCHANJ has launched an action campaign where New Jersey’s home health community can learn more and access a pre-written letter to our U.S. Senators.

Comforting a child who has recently lost a parent, sibling, or other significant person is a difficult and sometimes painful task. Support from others, especially peers, can help children recognize they are not alone in their grief and can assist them to find ways to cope with their losses. Providing the support to the grieving children in our lives often frees us to grieve our own losses.

Atlantic Visiting Nurse is pleased to announce their 16th year of Camp Clover—a bereavement day camp for children and teens grades 1-8.

Camp Clover is designed to be a safe place where children are encouraged to talk openly about their thoughts, feelings, and fears. As they share memories with fellow campers, they learn they are not alone in their grief.

Camp Clover offers fun, interactive, and educational activities to help with the grieving process as well as traditional camp activities which include swimming, sports and arts and crafts. It is our hope that children will emerge from their camp experience with new coping skills to help them in their journey through their grief. Camp Clover is staffed by professional grief counselors and trained volunteers and will run from August 17th through August 20th, 2026.

Camp Clover is funded by donations and is FREE to all children. Additionally, camp will provide busing and lunch. Camp Clover is located on the grounds of Camp Riverbend, 116 Hillcrest Road, Warren, NJ.
