The Last Batch of Extractshak CBD Oil
When we opened Extractshak in 2018, finding quality CBD products was difficult. But what was even harder for people to find was someone who could actually answer their questions honestly and knowledgeably.
At the time, there were very few places around the Big Bend—especially Wakulla—where people could find dependable CBD oil, gummies, or v**e products. Natural Life in Tallahassee was one of the few exceptions. For everyone else, it often felt like you were taking a chance on a product and hoping for the best.
We quickly realized that because we had our own licensed kitchen, we had the ability to make our own CBD oil in-house. That decision changed everything.
Making our own oil allowed us to keep costs down, control quality from start to finish, and make sure every batch met the standards we wanted for our own customers. For a while, we also made our own gummies and v**e carts because sourcing consistent products was just as difficult.
As more wholesalers entered the market, we eventually began purchasing more products rather than making everything ourselves. At the time, we were doing a lot of volume and keeping up with production was no small task.
But when we started outsourcing our CBD oil, our customers made one thing very clear:
They wanted our original in-house oil back.
Time after time, customers told us that other oils just did not give them the same experience. When we compared lab results, we noticed major differences as well.
Our process was different from the standard approach. While many companies use processed extracts, we made our oil using raw flower and a Rick Simpson–style method by simply cooking it with oil. We believe that our process cooked something out of that flower that the extract didn’t contain because that’s the only logical explanation of why customers consistently noticed, appreciated and demanded ours over others through the years.
Honestly, when Extractshak first opened, that bottle of oil was almost all we had. I did not have the money to fill the shelves with every product imaginable. That CBD oil helped build this business from the ground up.
Word spread through the community. People shared their experiences, came back for more, told their friends and family, and trusted us with their questions. We sold countless bottles over the years, and it became a meaningful part of so many people’s routines—including a large number of pets whose owners became loyal customers too.
Now, after an incredible eight years, regulations are forcing us to wind things down.
As I write this, I am cooking what will likely be our final batch of Extractshak in-house CBD oil.
We expect to have around 45 bottles available. If you have used our oil before and want to stock up, now is the time. If you have never tried it, I will tell you the same thing I have always told customers:
It may not be the right product for everyone, and no CBD product is guaranteed to produce the same results for every person. But for the people and pets it has worked well for over the years, it has made a real difference—and many customers have felt it was well worth the $50 chance.
This oil has been a blessing to a lot of people in our community, and it has been a blessing to me too. It opened doors, created relationships, taught me a lot, and helped build Extractshak into what it became.
I will never forget this chapter of my life or the support you all have shown us over the past eight years.
