Are your CalFresh benefits changing?

To receive CalFresh for more than 3 months in a 36-month period, you may have to work or participate in a community engagement activity. This is called the Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) rule.
This rule includes you if you:
- Are between the ages of 18 and 64,
- Do not have a disability, and
- Do not have a dependent child under 14 years old.
