🎈🌎 Today looked a little different at Willow Falls, and we had an absolute blast trying something new!

We welcomed Philup Balloons for an in-house Around the World Balloon Show! Our talented balloon artist twisted and created animals and other fun creations inspired by places around the world, all while sharing the art and techniques behind balloon twisting. Residents watched, learned, laughed, and a lucky few even walked away with some amazing balloon creations of their own! 🎈✨

It was definitely a colorful adventure filled with creativity, interesting facts, and plenty of smiles. At Willow Falls, we love trying new things and finding unique ways to keep our residents engaged and entertained. You never quite know what adventure might be waiting around the corner!

☀️🍔🍦 The joy, fun, and food just keep coming at Willow Falls!

We had another top-notch day that kicked off with one of our fabulous summer cookouts! As summer starts to wind down, we still have a few more cookouts coming in September, so be sure to join us while you can for one of our final two of the season. Great food, good friends, and plenty of smiles are always on the menu!

And what would a beautiful summer day be without a little ice cream? 🍨 After our cookout, we hit the road again with some of our residents to enjoy a sweet treat and make the most of the gorgeous weather.

🌈✨ Tie-dye fun was in full swing at Willow Falls!

Last week, our residents got creative designing their very own tie-dye scarves, and each one turned into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind creation! After the scarves were rinsed, finished, and returned to their artists, we couldn't resist grabbing a few snapshots of the smiles that came along with seeing the finished products. ❤️

❤️ Today at Willow Falls was filled with a little bit of everything: celebration, laughter, music, sweet treats, and a few bittersweet moments, too.

For those who haven't heard, our beloved receptionist Anne will be retiring from Willow Falls this Friday after more than 20 years as part of our community.

Anne is so much more than the friendly face behind our front desk. She's a kind word when you need one, a friend to residents, families, and staff, and someone who is always willing to lend a helping hand or jump in wherever she's needed. For more than two decades, hers has been one of the first smiling faces welcoming people into Willow Falls, and saying she will be missed is truly an understatement.

Residents and staff took some time today to celebrate Anne and wish her well as she begins this next chapter. While we're sad to see her go, this isn't goodbye, it's simply see you later! We wish Anne nothing but happiness in her retirement and fully expect plenty of visits! ❤️ If you'd like to share your well wishes with Anne before she retires, please stop by Thursday or Friday to help us send her off with all the love she deserves.

And because there's always something to celebrate at Willow Falls, the day continued with our August Birthday Social! 🎂🎉 Alex Talbott absolutely wowed the audience with his amazing voice, dance moves, enthusiasm, and energy. Toes were tapping, residents were singing along, and the smiles throughout the room said it all. Add in some absolutely delicious funnel cakes, and we couldn't have asked for a better afternoon! 🎶

❤️🎶 Meaningful Memory Care moments have been happening all week long at Willow Falls!

From our wonderful Memory Care outing to our colorful tie-dye event, our residents have had a busy week filled with fun, laughter, and new experiences. We continued the good times with a special Memory Care Happy Hour featuring Jack Miuccio and his wife, who treated everyone to some of the greatest tunes! Residents were singing, dancing, smiling, and enjoying every moment together. 🎤💃
