Today, May 7th, marks Children's Mental Health Awareness Day! An estimated one in five children face mental health concerns, which can lead to struggles keeping up with their peers or reaching their goals. But a supportive adult can make a huge difference! We hope you will check in with the kids in your life today, and your own inner child, and do something playful that you enjoy!

MCT Team had the opportunity to engage in a Somatic Therapy workshop led by Chelsea Horton Healing Embodied.

She led our team through a 3 hour training that left everyone so excited and renewed.
The introduction of this modality has brought a new resource to our therapists, behavioral specialists and parent partner's practices. Not to mention to our clients and caregivers as an addition to the tools they are already practicing with their kiddos.
