Our latest honoree for “We Work As a Team” is Ahmad Kader, Pharm.D., Clinical Coordinator in Pharmacy! 💊✨

Ahmad is a true example of teamwork in action. From the moment he arrives each day with a positive attitude and encouraging spirit, he makes a lasting impact across the department. Always ready to lend a hand, he supports pharmacists, technicians, nurses, and physicians alike—ensuring every patient receives the best possible care.

As Clinical Coordinator, Ahmad works closely with care teams to research treatments, clarify medication orders, and provide expert guidance. He consistently rounds in the ICU, assists during critical situations, and collaborates across all levels of care—demonstrating what it means to work hand in hand for our patients.

His dedication, knowledge, and willingness to step in wherever needed make him an invaluable part of our team and a true embodiment of this award. 💙

We are proud to see one of our own recognized by Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival - CARES! ❤️

Laura Messer, RN, Stroke and Chest Pain Center Certification Coordinator at NOMC, was recently featured in the CARES in Action 2026 Q3 Edition. Through her work with CARES and her leadership in the Region 1 Resuscitation Group, Laura continues to make a meaningful impact on cardiac care in our community.

Her story is especially powerful—after helping lead community CPR education efforts, Laura experienced the importance of the “chain of survival” firsthand when her husband survived a cardiac arrest earlier this year.

Thank you, Laura, for your dedication to saving lives and strengthening our community. We are so proud to have you on our team! 🏥❤️
