ONE WEEK AWAY! RACE FOR GRACE 5K & FAMILY FESTIVAL!

Next Thursday, October 29th, we’re bringing our community together at Twin Hills Park in Crestview for an afternoon and evening of family fun, fellowship, and a great cause!

🎪 Family Festival begins at 3:00 PM

🏃 Race for Grace 5K starts at 5:00 PM

We’ll have food vendors, music, activities for the kids, and plenty of fun for the whole family!

And with Halloween right around the corner, we’re adding a costume contest and lighting up the evening with glow sticks for our Light Up the Night 5K!

But beyond all the fun, there’s a purpose behind every step. Race for Grace supports the life-changing work of Project Hope and Saving Grace, helping men and women find freedom from addiction and a new beginning.

Whether you’re running the race, bringing the family to the festival, or simply coming out to support, we would love to see you there!

Today was all about showing our guys just how much they mean to us! ❤️

A huge thank you to McAlister's Deli for helping provide sandwiches and lunch for our men as we celebrated Student Appreciation Day!

Our guys work hard every day. Between their responsibilities around the center, their recovery journey, and learning what it means to live a life of purpose, it’s easy to get caught up in the routine. Days like today give them a chance to slow down, enjoy some good food, and be reminded that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

What made today even more special was seeing our men come together to make the day enjoyable for one another. Each man doing his part, not for himself, but to make sure his brother felt appreciated. That’s the kind of brotherhood we hope to build here at Project Hope.

We want every man in our home to know that he matters. Not just because of what he accomplishes, but because of who he is and the life God is helping him rebuild. Having our community come alongside us to show that same love and encouragement means more than words can express.

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

This Sunday, we’re heading to The Vine Ministries, and we’d love for you to join us!

A big thank you to Oak Ridge Family Church welcoming Project Hope into your Sunday service this morning!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to worship with you and allow some of our men to share their testimonies of what God has done in their lives. Every testimony is a reminder that no one is too far gone for God’s grace, and no life is beyond His power to restore!

And we certainly can’t forget the wonderful meal you prepared for us! The food was delicious, and the love and hospitality you showed our men made the day even more special.

Thank you, Oak Ridge Family Church, for opening your doors and your hearts to us. We are blessed to have churches like yours walking alongside us in this ministry!

Our Blessed Hands Food Pantry is open TODAY, and we’ve got COOKIES to share along with our regular food distribution!

Every Saturday is another opportunity to remind our community that they are loved and that a helping hand is never far away. Sometimes that love even comes with a cookie! 🍪

October reminds us that change can be beautiful when we trust God through the process. 🍁

At Project Hope, we see men step away from addiction and uncertainty and begin building a new life through faith, structure, and the support of those walking beside them.

Just as the seasons change, your story can change too. Your past does not have to determine what comes next.

There’s a difference between wanting the power of the Holy Spirit and being willing to surrender to Him.

We had another wonderful small group with Liberty Culture Church, where we talked about the descending of the dove and what it really means to let the Holy Spirit lead our lives.

That message hits especially close to home in recovery. Sometimes we want God to change our circumstances, take away our struggles, and give us the strength to overcome, but we still want to be the ones in control. The truth is, we can’t ask the Holy Spirit to lead us while refusing to let go of the things holding us back.

Real transformation begins with surrender. Not just wanting what God can do for us, but allowing Him to do His work within us.

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25

Thank you, Liberty Culture Church, for continuing to pour into the men at Project Hope. We’re grateful for the time you spend with our guys and for the conversations that challenge us to grow closer to God. What a blessing it is to have people who genuinely care about the lives being changed here!
