Happy Sabbath!!

Watering the garden has been a constant challenge this summer. We have not had much rain this summer and the grass is showing it. The garden which has been watered is showing it’s wonderful colors off. Take time to water your spiritual garden today.

The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:11

Happy Sabbath!

When the rain came this week so did an abundance of flowers. Many flowers will keep blooming as long as they get water and the right food. They become bright blooms of happiness and joy.

“Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart.”

Happy Sabbath!

The theme of the day is bees. Everywhere I went with these bouquets the bees followed. They knew I had something good so they followed. We should be just as tenacious in following Jesus as the bees are in following food sources.

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Zinnias are putting on an amazing show right now. They are always in cheerful colors and well behaved in the garden. I pray they will brighten your day.

Happy Sabbath!

The deer have been roaming the garden and munching on some of my flowers, even so I found some colorful treasures in my garden.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Happy Sabbath!

Yes, the yellow flowers are sunflowers 🌻 I had the help of some little critters to plant them. I’m sure the seeds were from the bird feeders and some little critters brought them in the greenhouse. They planted them in my potting soil. I didn’t have the heart to throw them out so I gave them their own pots and now they are blooming, still in the greenhouse. Sometimes you just have to bloom where you were planted.

4 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: 5 “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. 6 Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. 7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

Happy Sabbath!!

Even the daffodils weren’t happy about being picked at 28degrees today. They were solid with all their faces down. As the sun warms them, they come back around.

“He sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.”

Happy Sabbath!

Some flowers take a lot of work getting them into a vase and looking good. Daffodils are very obedient. They make life easy by being well behaved. I can cut them and put them directly in the jar or vase I want. They stay put and don’t fight with me.

He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
