We're filling resource bags for the families coming to Fall Fest (Tue Oct 27, 1–7 PM — 4 days to go), and local businesses can help: individually wrapped candy, small nonfood treats, decorations and activity supplies, or bottled water. Nonfood treats matter — they make sure every child gets to join in, including kids with allergies or dietary restrictions.

Have you seen a teal pumpkin on a porch? 💙🎃 It means that home offers non-food treats — stickers, glow sticks, small toys — so children with food allergies or sensory needs can trick-or-treat safely and still feel included.

A few ways to make Halloween welcoming for every child:
• Offer a non-food option alongside candy
• Keep flashing lights and sudden sounds optional, not surprising
• Let kids choose — a wave or a high-five counts as trick-or-treat spirit

DSPs and caregivers — this one's for you. 💙

Ever wonder what a Direct Support Professional (DSP) actually does all day? A DSP supports people with developmental disabilities in everyday life — cooking meals together, getting out in the community, and working toward personal goals. It's hands-on, human work that genuinely matters.

If you love helping people, this could be the most meaningful work you'll ever do. DSPs at Full Circle earn up to $24 an hour with flexible schedules — and in many cases, we can hire YOU as your own loved one's paid staff. (Rules vary by situation — call us and we'll walk you through how it works for your family.)

Come meet us at Walk-in Wednesdays, 9:30–11:30 AM at our Crofton office, and talk with a Care Coordinator about DSP and caregiver openings across Anne Arundel County.

Today our team was at the Fall Hiring Event and Resource Fair at the Anne Arundel County Career Center in Linthicum Heights, meeting future caregivers and DSPs.

A DSP (direct support professional) supports people with developmental disabilities to live full, independent lives — at home and out in the community. It's some of the most meaningful work there is.
