A private group practice organized to provide intensive behavioral/instructional services to individuals with disabilities.

Beacon Services of Connecticut is a group practice of early intervention specialists, behavior analysts, and behavioral therapists providing services to children with developmental delays and their families. Our practice specializes in evidence-based treatments in natural settings. Beacon works intensively with children who exhibit a variety of delays including autism, motor, speech, learning, and behavior challenges. Our clinicians provide services in homes, daycares, and school settings.

Through our Birth to Three Early Intervention program, our team partners with families to turn simple summer moments - chasing bubbles, splashing in the yard, exploring nature - into powerful opportunities for growth. These everyday experiences help build communication, motor skills, and confidence during the most important years of development.

Everyday moments are the building blocks of communication, and in early intervention, speech‑language pathologists (SLPs) help children turn those moments into meaningful connections. Whether a child is learning to make eye contact, imitate a sound, or share a word during play, these early interactions shape how they understand and express themselves.

At Beacon, our Speech‑Language Pathologists weave communication support into daily routines so children strengthen their skills in the environments where they grow best.

We proudly celebrated an incredible milestone this past weekend for several of our Beacon team members at their graduate hooding ceremony at Elms College! This meaningful tradition honors not only their academic achievement, but also their continued growth as skilled, compassionate leaders in the field.

Through Beacon’s partnership with Elms College, these dedicated professionals have earned their master’s degrees representing years of hard work, commitment, and passion for the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
