April is Occupational Therapy month! I am truly grateful that I get to have a "job" where I love what I do and that I get to work with so many amazing families. I want to thank all of you for supporting me as an OT and for allowing me to a part of your journey.

It is amazing to me that it has already been 2 years since I opened Playful Pathways Therapy! Thank you for all of your support over these last couple of years! I look forward to seeing what year 3 brings.

Tomorrow is an E-Learning day for Crosby schools due to icy roads. With that said, I am planning to stay open. If the roads are dangerous, please contact me to reschedule your appointment.

This goes for all of winter. I will stay open as often as possible during closings but please reschedule if travel is dangerous. I will also contact families and post on here if my closure is necessary. Thank you.

I am currently working on creating a variety of blog posts focusing on sensory systems, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, etc. These posts will include items that would make great gift ideas for this holiday season! First up, the proprioceptive system.

Proprioception helps us perceive our body's movements position in space. This is one of my favorites of the sensory systems because it is so impactful on daily activities.
