We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how about you? Park staff and guest teachers showed their Brewers spirit today leading up to Game 1 of the World Series! There were also a lot of students sporting their Brewers gear as well. Let's go Brewers! This is our Crew!
Our 4th graders also got a special behind the scenes look of the World Series at American Family Field from one of our Park parents who is there covering the game for work. What a unique experience for our students and a fun way to build excitement leading up to the games.

MCPASD Parent Kelly Unger nominated Ms. Grothaus for a Cardinal's Journey award. In Ms. Grothaus’s nomination, Unger shared:
“Ms. Grothaus showed curiosity about our child even before the school year started, reaching out to us parents to talk about our hopes for our child in the coming school year. Throughout the year she connected with us often, even outside of the weekly newsletters, to check in and see how things were going from our point of view. She connected with our child's interests and offered additional ways we could engage with those interests, and she connected with other staff to help our child when needed. Her curiosity about and enthusiasm for her students is inspiring.”

Thank you to the Park Elementary PTO and all of our Park families that contributed food this week for the nacho bar and snack bar to help us "Fuel Up for Fall Conferences". Your generosity is very much appreciated.

Unity Day: Oct. 21st, 2026
On Oct. 21st Park Elementary School joined many schools across the nation to recognize the importance of encouraging a safe and inclusive learning environment. Our focus is what we expect to see: respectful, kind, and inclusive behaviors (the opposite of bullying).

In an act of unity, students joined in wearing the color orange on Oct. 21, 2026. Students in 3rd and 4th grade made kindness posters for the event to promote respectful actions that day and everyday.

Although this act is simple, we hope that it sends the clear message that we take the matter seriously and want every child to feel comfortable and safe at school.

A great big shout out to the Park Elementary PTO for using their Scholastic credits to purchase books for our student's birthdays. Each student gets to pick out a bookmark and a book when they celebrate their birthday with their class.
This has been a huge hit with the students and we are so grateful to the PTO for getting this program up and running this year.
