🎉 WHAT A NIGHT AT DONNA’S DREAM! 🎉

Tonight was one of those nights that reminds us just how important fellowship, laughter and simply spending time together really are. ❤️

We mixed a little BINGO with music, finger foods, prizes, plenty of socializing, and a whole lot of laughing — and we truly had the BEST time! 😂🎶

It wasn’t really about who won the bingo games or took home the prizes. It was about everybody sitting around together, cutting up, enjoying some good food and music, and making memories with people who have become family.

Recovery is about so much more than simply staying sober. It’s learning how to live again, laugh again, build friendships, and discover that you can have an amazing time without drugs or alcohol. Nights like tonight are proof of that.

A BIG thank you to everyone who came, brought food, helped out, played along, and made our first little Donna’s Dream Bingo Night so much fun! We definitely need to do this again! ❤️‍🔥

✨ WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT KENDRA’S PLACE ✨

One of the blessings of Donna’s Dream is the fellowship, faith, and family that continue to grow around us.

Every Wednesday evening, we gather at Kendra’s Place in Clarkrange for a meal together followed by Bible Study, led by Mark Hedgecoth. Mark continues to pour into our men and women through God’s Word, reminding us that recovery is about more than leaving an old life behind—it’s about building a new life with Christ at the center. ❤️

🍽️ Fellowship Meal — 6:30 PM
📖 Bible Study — 7:00 PM

We also want to give a very special THANK YOU to Ken Taylor for graciously allowing Donna’s Dream to use Kendra’s Place each week.

Kendra’s Place holds a beautiful meaning of its own. Ken opened this special place in honor and memory of his daughter, Kendra, creating a place where people can gather, connect, and be part of a community. We are incredibly grateful that Donna’s Dream gets to be a small part of what happens within these walls.

There’s something powerful about sitting around a table together, opening the Bible together, praying together, and watching God work in people’s lives.

Faith. Fellowship. Recovery. Family.
That’s what Wednesday nights are about. 🙏❤️

Amen. 🙏🏻

Not every correction is rejection.
Not every disagreement is disrespect.
Not every silence is hatred.

Sometimes we become so guarded that we interpret everything through the lens of past pain.

The problem is, offense does not just affect how you hear people.

It affects how you see them.

“Human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”
James 1:20

The enemy loves offended hearts.

Because offense creates distance.
Distance creates division.
And division destroys relationships that could have been healed through humility and honest conversation.

Before you assume the worst, pause.

Ask questions before making conclusions.

Choose understanding before judgment.

And if someone truly has hurt you, bring it to God before you bring it to everyone else.

A heart filled with grace will always hear differently than a heart filled with offense.

Protect your heart.

Not everything is an attack.

Sometimes it’s simply an opportunity to grow. ❤️‍🔥
