🏖️☀️ What an amazing day at our 2nd Annual Porter County Safe Kids Day 2026!

We spent the day at Indiana Dunes State Park celebrating summer safety and raising awareness for National Drowning Prevention Day 🌊🛟

With 11 incredible community vendors, we had the opportunity to meet families visiting from all across the U.S., share life-saving water safety and injury prevention tips, and hand out fun safety giveaways!

We truly couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day at the beach! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make today such a success. Here's to a fun, safe summer! 💙☀️

The world's best soccer players are taking hydration breaks during this year's World Cup—and that's a great reminder for young athletes, too. ⚽💧

Kids are at a higher risk for dehydration and heat illness than adults, and when they're having fun, it's easy to forget to stop for water. Encourage your young MVPs to take a hydration break every 15–20 minutes during outdoor play, even if they don't feel thirsty.
