When youre a two time national collegiate powerlifting champion, you have a lot of first hand knowledge of muscular-skeletal pain. Fortunately for Dr. Steve Kouimanis, his aches and pains were part of his training. All my life, Ive had a desire to help people. I enjoy helping people discover their true potential. Dr. Kouimanis concerns for other people led him to Ball State University, and then to

the distinguished Palmer College of Chiropractic, and finally, back home to establish his own practice. Many local residents recognize Lowell, Indiana native Dr. Kouimanis from his football and track exploits at Lowell High School, or his recent assistant coaching work with the LHS track team. Soon, many more people will know him as one of the areas leading practitioners of the DRS protocol. Dr. Kouimanis has been studying with several leading doctors whose pioneering work with DRS has made this treatment so effective. As he states, I have spent a great deal of my time learning about how the body works, and how I can help people with back pain. Now, Im ready to put this all to work for my patients. When you combine his extensive education with his passion to help people, you understand why Dr. Kouimanis is becoming an important part of the medical community of Northwest Indiana.
