NAMI McHenry County is proud to support Never Walk Alone 2026, a su***de prevention and awareness walk hosted by the McHenry County Su***de Prevention Task Force Force, which NAMI co-leads.

Please note that Never Walk Alone is separate from NAMIWalks. This event focuses specifically on su***de prevention, honoring those lost to su***de, and supporting survivors of su***de loss.

Join us for a walk of a little over two miles. Participants are invited to bring a photo of a loved one lost to su***de for our Remembrance Wall.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by rock painting, a brief program, and the walk at 10:00 a.m.

All funds raised stay in McHenry County to support local su***de prevention programs and survivors of su***de loss.

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course designed for individuals interested in learning ways to identify and assist those experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. There is a 2-hour online pre-course followed by a 6-hour live training session. This course is sponsored by the Veterans Assistance Commission.
