LEAD FARM Live 2026 is almost here! 🌾🎶

If you’ve ever wondered how LEAD FARM Live came to be, it all started with Sean Henning—a proud veteran whose family has deep roots in Huntley going back over 150 years.

Growing up in a military family, giving back to local veterans has always been close to his heart. What began as a backyard range for friends to gather and shoot has grown into LEAD FARM Live—a one-of-a-kind event featuring live music from Cory Farley and The Big Richards, food trucks, raffles, and a mission to support those who served.

Since 2021, LEAD FARM Live has raised nearly $60,000 for Veterans Path to Hope, helping provide housing, employment, food, clothing, and counseling to veterans who came home changed and need a helping hand.

This event comes straight from the heart, and every dollar raised helps make a real, lasting impact.

🎒 Back-to-School Mental Health Prep 🧠✨

The shift from summer freedom to school routines can bring up big feelings for kids and parents alike. Preparing emotionally is just as key as getting supplies!

Here’s how to support your family’s mental well-being this season:
◆ Ease Into Routines Early: Gradually shift bedtimes and morning schedules a week or two prior to reduce day-one shock.
◆ Validate Emotions: Ask open questions and listen. It's normal to feel excited and anxious at the same time.
◆ Build In After-School Reset Time: Give kids 30–60 minutes of zero-demand downtime right after school to decompress.
◆ Focus on the Controllables: Let them pick out outfits or organize supplies to build a sense of control.
◆ Mind Your Own Thermostat: Parent energy is contagious—take moments to manage your own stress, too.

💡 Adjustment takes time. Be patient with your kids—and yourself!
