Please join us in congratulating Ashley Thomas, DNP, on her promotion to Director of Clinical Operations at Nature Coast Health Care. đź‘Ź While leading the clinic, she'll still be providing top quality care to patients. đź©ş

Ashley will help our clinic continue raising the standard of care and maintain our place as the best healthcare clinic in Citrus County. With her DNP and more than nine years at Nature Coast Health Care, she is the right leader to take us to the next level.

Ashley began her nursing career in 2010 as an ICU nurse in The Villages, caring for elderly patients with complex, life-threatening conditions. She earned her Master’s in Family Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2015 and found her calling in internal medicine — helping patients manage diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, COPD, and other long-term conditions.

She joined Nature Coast Health Care in 2017 after moving to Citrus County. Since then, she has become a trusted provider known for her clinical skill, patient-centered care, and commitment to helping people live healthier lives.

Nature Coast Health Care was proud to host a recent Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) gathering, led by Dr. McNerney, for physicians from Central Florida and across the state.
It was a great evening of good food, meaningful conversation, and time spent catching up on the latest in medical practice here in Florida. We are grateful to Dr. McNerney and every DO who joined us.
Nature Coast Health Care is home to some of the only osteopathic physicians in Citrus County — a distinction that has helped us earn recognition as one of the best clinics in our community.
